My hamlet has more than two dozen households from Quang Tri and Quang Nam who have lived there since the 1980s. Every year, the elderly return to visit their relatives in their hometowns. They say that even though they are successful in business and can "lay down" in Binh Thuan because they consider it their second hometown, they still remember the memories of their hometowns in their hearts, so they have to go back from time to time. Most of the children born between 1980 and 2000 went to Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces to study, work, and get married, so their children are "true" city residents and have little idea what it's like in their hometowns. She said: Urban life is so busy making a living that there is not much time to go here and there, especially when going back to the countryside, we are in a hurry and cannot bring our children back because we are busy with school, so the children are "blind" to the countryside. The other day, after taking the children to swim in Phan Thiet beach and eat fresh seafood, the two children asked to go to Da Mi to see what durian, mangosteen, and macadamia trees look like because they have been eating fruit for a long time but have not seen the trees. Booking a 2-day camping tour in the macadamia garden, the children "scoured" the hill all day and "brought" back all the fruits they collected such as macadamia, durian, avocado, mangosteen... with joy when showing them off online to friends in the city...

Returning to the hometown, the first feeling is to live in the loving arms of relatives. A feeling that only those who work in other provinces or live far from home can understand its sacred value. In the bustling city, sometimes you want to enjoy these dishes but still don't have time. But returning to the hometown, there is both an atmosphere of family reunion, a little time to relax and chat and eat a hot meal, and all the worries of life suddenly disappear.

Booking.com (online travel platform) has just announced the survey data for the early summer of 2025 from June 1 to July 31 on the priority of choosing the route to the beach, exploring nature and traveling to big cities, in which the rate of exploring nature is chosen by 59% of the survey respondents, only behind going to the beach at 61%. This shows the attraction of tours to explore lakes - waterfalls - rural tourism that are being chosen by many tourists for their summer trips, especially the young generation... Binh Thuan tourism during this time is winning big thanks to the favorable effects of the two expressways Phan Thiet - Dau Giay and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet. In addition, the Department of Tourism and tourism businesses have coordinated to organize many cultural, sports, culinary and event programs to create attractive features for tourists to come. Besides its strength in the sea, Binh Thuan has raised the level of developing community tourism, rural tourism, lake - waterfall - forest tourism to meet the demand of visitors who want to experience and explore nature.
