Following the vibrant atmosphere from the series of events in Hanoi , the Nutifood Kids Football Festival 2026 will take place consecutively at Hoa Lu Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) on May 16-17, 2026.

This event holds special significance as it coincides with the awarding of the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Football" commemorative medal to coach Guillaume Graechen, who has dedicated nearly two decades to youth football training in Vietnam.

Honoring the mentor of many generations of players.

Having joined youth football training in Vietnam in 2007, Coach Guillaume Graechen not only directly coaches but also participates in discovering and nurturing many young talents, while building a foundation of discipline, competitive mindset, and fair-play spirit for the trainees. Many generations of famous Vietnamese football stars have been coached and trained by Coach Guillaume Graechen, such as: Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong, Ly Duc, Nhat Minh, Quoc Viet, etc.

In recognition of Coach Guillaume Graechen's enduring contributions over nearly 20 years of service to Vietnam, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has respectfully awarded him the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Football" commemorative medal as an official acknowledgment.

Sharing their thoughts on this decision, a VFF representative stated: “Although holding French citizenship, Coach Guillaume Graechen has worked in Vietnam for two decades, contributing to the training of many generations of quality players and laying the foundation for modern coaching methods suitable for the long-term development of youth football. His contributions are incredibly enduring, profound, and deserve to be honored.”

At the event, national team player Nguyen Nhat Minh, representing generations of students, shared: “For us, the coach is not only a football instructor but also a mentor who guides us on our career path, teaching us how to play beautifully and effectively. His lessons have stayed with us throughout our professional careers.”

"The fact that you are being honored today is a source of pride for all your students. Personally, I feel very fortunate to have been your student, to have been trained by you since I was a young boy of 11 or 12 in the mountainous region."

The event not only marks nearly two decades of dedication by coach Guillaume Graechen but also serves as a place where generations come together to pay tribute to the mentor who helped shape their careers.

Alongside the awards ceremony, the Nutifood Kids Football Festival 2026, held at Hoa Lu Stadium on May 16-17, 2026, provided an experiential and selection space for young children passionate about football.

Based on the results of the competency assessment, the coaching staff will select the most outstanding players to advance to the knockout round held in Gia Lai .

This is considered an important stepping stone on the journey to becoming an official student of the Nutifood Football Academy, where children are given the opportunity to receive full scholarships for training in a professional coaching environment, combined with a structured nutrition regimen to become future football stars.
