VIC hits ceiling price, VN-Index holds firm at 1,280 points.

On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching over 14,426.73 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold 260 billion VND. On the buying side,FPT shares were the most heavily bought (over 122 billion VND), followed by MWG (80 billion VND), VIC (64 billion VND)... Conversely, TLG faced the strongest selling pressure (177 billion VND), followed by HPG (83 billion VND), VPB (61 billion VND)...

Today's trading session saw 11 stocks in the VN30 index rise, 5 stocks remain unchanged, and 14 stocks fall.

Specifically, VIC hit its ceiling price at 45,100 VND/share, VHM increased by 2.22%, PLX increased by 1.13%, and VRE increased by 1.01%.

Stocks such as CTG, FPT, MSN, POW, SAB, TCB, and VNM saw slight increases.

Stocks that remained unchanged in price included: ACB, HDB, MWG,SHB , VPB.

Conversely, SSB fell 2.27% to 19,400 VND/share, SSI decreased 1.62%, and BID declined 1.2%.

The remaining stocks: BCM, BVH, GAS, GVR, HPG, MBB, STB, TPB, VCB,VIB , VJC saw slight declines.

In terms of sectors, among steel stocks, only HMC remained unchanged, while the rest declined. Specifically, HPG fell 0.96%, HSG fell 0.95%, NKG fell 0.46%, SMC fell 1.36%, TLH fell 1.81%, and VCA fell 0.56%.

The majority of securities stocks closed in the red. Besides SSI mentioned above, AGR fell 1.60%, APG fell 5.02%, BSI fell 0.7%, HCM fell 1.68%, ORS fell 2.26%, VCI fell 0.93%, VDS fell 0.23%, VIX fell 2.06%, and VND fell 1.59%. Conversely, CTS rose 0.13%, TVB rose 0.11%, TVS rose 1.3%, while FTS remained unchanged.

Similarly, the banking sector closed the session with most stocks declining. Besides ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, and VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, EIB fell 0.27%, LPB fell 0.63%, MSB fell 0.34%, and OCB fell 1.38%.

The real estate sector saw many stocks perform well. Besides the Vingroup stocks (VIC, VHM, VRE) mentioned above, DRH increased by 3.83%, HDC by 3.53%, VPH by 2.67%, and so on.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated throughout today's session. The VNXALL-Index closed up 1.80 points (+0.09%) at 2,101.98 points. Total market liquidity reached 615.57 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 16,269.06 billion. Across the market, 170 stocks increased in price, 94 remained unchanged, and 205 decreased.

* On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 238.91 points, down 0.06 points (-0.03%). Total trading volume reached over 44.55 million units, with a corresponding transaction value of over 889.73 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 73 gainers, 69 unchanged stocks, and 81 losers.

The HNX30 index closed up 0.19 points (+0.04%) at 526.56 points. Trading volume reached approximately 25.87 million units, with a corresponding value of over 661.81 billion VND. Among the HNX30 stocks, 12 ended the trading day higher, 7 remained unchanged, and 11 declined.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index declined, closing at 94.15 points, down 0.02 points (-0.02%). Total market liquidity reached over 29.83 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 518.42 billion VND. Among UPCoM stocks, 150 ended the trading day higher, 94 remained unchanged, and 126 declined.

* On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 0.54 points (+0.04%) at 1,280.56 points. Trading volume reached over 659.09 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 16,156.30 billion. Across the entire exchange, there were 169 gainers, 73 unchanged stocks, and 235 losers.

The VN30 index rose 3.68 points (+0.28%) to 1,322.28 points. Trading volume reached over 241.42 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 8,202.00 billion. At the end of the trading day, 11 VN30 stocks increased, 5 remained unchanged, and 14 decreased.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were DXG (over 35.76 million units), VIX (over 26.44 million units), VHM (over 18.21 million units), DIG (over 15.85 million units), and VPB (over 15.39 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increases were VIC (7.00%), VCF (6.99%), LM8 (6.76%), DTT (6.57%), and FUCTVGF5 (5.88%).

The five stocks with the biggest price drops were FUCVREIT (-6.97%), MDG (-6.86%), COM (-6.33%), BTT (-5.54%), and DAT (-5.53%).

* Today's derivatives market saw 156,395 contracts traded, with a value of VND 20,624.52 billion.
