Vietnam won 1st runner-up 'Man of The Year 2019'

With careful preparation and maintaining his form throughout the competition, Tuong Ngoc Minh excellently won the Man of The Year 2019 runner-up award.

Recently, the final night of Man of The Year 2019 took place in Myanmar. Vietnam's representative at the competition was Tuong Ngoc Minh, born in 1994 in Hanoi . Before the important competition night, the male model was highly appreciated by beauty magazines and was expected to bring impressive achievements to his homeland. He was also awarded many secondary awards before the final.

With his efforts, Tuong Ngoc Minh was excellently named in the Top 10 with the following contestants: Cambodia, India, Australia, Myanmar, Philippines, Spain, Korea, Indonesia, Panama. In the behavioral round, when talking about the issue of wildlife protection, the Vietnamese representative frankly stated that this is an urgent issue. He said: “As we all know, the number of wild animals is decreasing due to forest fires and deforestation, trading and hunting of rare animals. The solution I propose is that we must prevent hunting, build animal sanctuaries, protect the environment to create a good living environment for wild animals. Besides, I hope to use social networks and my influence to promote and protect this urgent issue."

With his intelligence and confidence on stage, Tuong Ngoc Minh excellently won the 1st Runner-up position along with three other awards: Most Favorite Mister by the world beauty website Mister Missosologists's Choice, Mister Media Choice, and Papularity Award. Meanwhile, the highest title belonged to the Korean representative. The contestant from Indonesia won the 2nd Runner-up, the 3rd Runner-up went to the contestant from Spain, and the 4th Runner-up went to the contestant from Myanmar.

This achievement is considered a worthy result for Tuong Ngoc Minh and the Korean representative. During the competition, both of them almost "dominated" the entire game this year. Although not winning the highest victory, Tuong Ngoc Minh has extended the impressive achievements of Vietnamese representatives in this playground.
