
According to the People's Committee of Tay Giang commune, after implementing a two-level local government, the commune focuses on social security policies for the people such as: issuing health insurance cards, supporting study costs, giving gifts to village elders and village chiefs.
Propaganda work to reduce child marriage and incestuous marriage is regularly carried out. In the National Target Program, Tay Giang commune was allocated more than 54 billion VND, of which more than 15 billion VND has been disbursed.
However, some projects are still slow to complete their documents, and the selection of beneficiaries is not uniform. Tay Giang proposes that in the 2026-2030 period, it will continue to invest in transport infrastructure, domestic water, medicinal plant models and community tourism associated with the preservation of Co Tu culture.
For A Vuong commune, after the merger, the locality focused on stabilizing production with 65 hectares of wet rice, 120 hectares of upland rice and 15 hectares of spring-summer corn; at the same time, paying attention to education , health care and social security.
In the National Target Program, A Vuong received capital of more than 24.8 billion VND, and has disbursed nearly 7 billion VND, reaching 28.1%. The current difficulty of the locality is that the handover from old communes is still slow, the poverty rate is high at over 41%. The locality recommends that the State invest in essential infrastructure, develop the forest economy associated with medicinal herbs and provide vocational training for young people.

In Hung Son commune, people's lives are basically stable, and policies for people with meritorious services are fully paid with more than 2.1 billion VND/month for 470 subjects.
Regarding the National Target Program, Hung Son commune received many projects from old communes; of which, 31 projects have been finalized, 18 projects started in 2025 are being implemented with a disbursement rate of 37%. This locality has strengths in developing medicinal herbs such as Ngoc Linh ginseng, Morinda officinalis, and Codonopsis pilosula combined with community tourism.
Concluding the meeting, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the city Nguyen Manh Ha acknowledged the efforts of the three communes in implementing ethnic and religious policies and the National Target Program. At the same time, he requested that localities continue to complete handover documents, speed up capital disbursement, prioritize urgent infrastructure investment, focus on sustainable poverty reduction, vocational training and job creation for ethnic minorities.
