
Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, visited and presented the 75-year Party Membership Badge to veteran Party member Do Van Sach, currently a member of the Thai Binh Village Party Branch, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City.
According to Decision No. 1797 dated May 7, 2026, of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee on awarding Party Badges on May 19, 2026, Comrade Do Van Sach was awarded the 75-year Party Membership Badge. This is a prestigious award from the Party recognizing his dedication, training, and unwavering commitment as a Party member over many decades.
At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong personally presented the 75-year Party membership badge and award to Comrade Do Van Sach, amidst the emotional presence of his family, relatives, and local officials and Party members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong affirmed that in this round of awarding Party Badges, the Dong Anh Commune Party Committee had 133 Party members receiving Party Badges. Among them, Comrade Do Van Sach, an elderly Party member with the longest Party membership, received the 75-year Party Membership Badge.
"This is a great source of pride for Comrade Do Van Sach personally, for the Thai Binh village Party branch and the Dong Anh commune Party committee, especially in the current period when the locality is implementing a two-tiered local government model, aiming to build Dong Anh into a civilized, prosperous and beautiful urban area," Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong emphasized.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Anh commune, the awarding of Party badges to veteran Party members is an opportunity to honor and acknowledge the contributions of these former Party members throughout their careers to the Party, the country, and their homeland, while also educating today's younger generation about revolutionary traditions.
Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong stated that the Party members awarded the Party Badge this time in the commune, although working in various fields, have all experienced special historical periods of the nation, especially the resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism: “These Party members are all shining examples, always upholding their oath before the Party flag. We entrust to today's young Party members the importance of continuing to follow the precious traditions of the steadfast Party members before them, continuing to study and train according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, and working together to build Dong Anh into an ecological urban area, a livable city in accordance with the Resolution of the First Congress of the Dong Anh Commune Party Committee.”
In the emotional atmosphere of the ceremony, representatives of Comrade Do Van Sach's family expressed their gratitude to the Party committees and local authorities for their attention, encouragement, and for organizing the solemn Party membership badge awarding ceremony right at their home. For this veteran Party member, the 75-year Party membership badge is a sacred milestone in his revolutionary life, a motivation to continue upholding the qualities of a Party member and to educate his children and grandchildren to carry on the traditions of his family and homeland.
Comrade Do Van Sach joined the army during the resistance war against French colonial aggression, serving in Regiment 246 from January 1949 and achieving many accomplishments in combat. Later, he transferred and worked at the Viet Tri Wood Factory until 1958. From November 1959 to April 1963, he worked at the Cau Duong Wood Factory. From May 1963 to June 1977, he worked at the Mai Lam Casting Enterprise in Hanoi.

After retiring from his job, he continued to participate in activities at the Thai Binh village Party branch, Mai Lam commune (formerly), taking on many local responsibilities such as serving as a household registration officer in Mai Lam commune, the Executive Committee of the Elderly Association, and the Party Committee of Thai Binh village. From 2013 to the present, he has continued to be active in the Thai Binh village Party branch.
For over seven decades, Comrade Do Van Sach has consistently upheld the qualities of a Party member, setting an example in his work and life. The 75-year Party membership badge, awarded on President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, is a great honor for him and his family, and a source of pride for the Thai Binh village Party branch and the Dong Anh commune Party committee.
