Ms. Hoang Oanh (SN 1991) and her husband, Mr. Nguyen Cuong, currently live with 3 young sons in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi. Before giving birth to their youngest child, Rice, Oanh and her husband often maintained their passion for tourism by going camping to "escape the dust" in the suburbs.
The trips are mainly wrapped in the day so that the two eldest sons, Dau and Bap, can release energy, relieve stress after a week of studying as well as freely learn and explore nature.
Ms. Oanh and her 3 sons, Dau (6 years old), Bap (4 years old) and Thoc 8 months old, often go camping to "change the wind" every weekend.
The couple prioritized green destinations with grasslands or rivers and streams for their children to freely experience and explore the surrounding nature.
In 2022, after giving birth to Thuc a month, Ms. Oanh and her husband planned to send their children to go camping for the day. When the boy turned 4 months old, the couple decided to let him experience camping and overnight tents.
“When the family camping trip has a new child member, the preparation of furniture must be more careful and thorough. Especially in the winter, when it's cold, we have to bring along an electric charging station, electric blanket, mattress and sleeping bag so that the children can sleep outside at night and still be safe and warm," said Oanh. .
In addition, the meal when camping is also paid special attention and carefully prepared by her, such as bringing rice to cook rice and preparing food from home, etc.
Food for each camping trip is fully prepared by Ms. Oanh from salty food, snacks to fruit, candy, dessert, etc.
At the main meal, the couple will cook and eat in a car fully equipped with a power station and refrigerator. Thanks to that, the preservation of food, drink or porridge for Thuc during the trip is always safe.
Up to now, when Thuc is 8 months old, the trip schedule of Ms. Oanh's family is also extended and more frequent. Every weekend, the 9X couple takes their children camping, changing the atmosphere.
The family of 5 has just had a camping trip in Thung Trau (Kim Boi, Hoa Binh). This is the third time they have come to Hoa Binh with many memorable experiences with their children such as boating, bathing in streams, etc.
Ms. Oanh revealed, they prioritize green camping spots in the suburbs, a few dozen or a few hundred kilometers from Hanoi, where they can move and rest for 1-2 days without getting tired. In particular, the couple often chooses areas without 4G network to spend time with their children.
Currently, the young couple has brought their 3 young sons to visit many places and spend the night in green camping spots such as Ta Xua steppe (Son La), Phuong Hoang peak (Uong Bi, Quang Ninh). , Thung Trau (Hoa Binh), Moc Chau, Mo Ma (Huu Lung, Lang Son), ...
Each trip with different destinations brings different memories and emotions to the members.
Oanh said, trips are sometimes improvised or planned in advance, depending on the time and depending on the family's time arrangement.
In particular, the destination that the family of 5 most impressed with is Phuong Hoang Peak in Uong Bi, Quang Ninh - where for the first time Oanh and her husband let all 3 children experience camping overnight.
The trip was filled with joy of the members in Ta Xua.
“This camping trip is tiring but fun, the whole family can enjoy an enjoyable time in a place where there is no phone signal, comfortably breathe in the fresh air amidst the picturesque natural scenery. In particular, the next morning, we also hunted clouds, the experience was really different and memorable”, said the mother of 3.
Ms. Oanh admitted, after each camping trip, the children have grown up and learned more life skills. The children are taught by their parents about common dangers when in the forest or know how to equip essential items such as life jackets when swimming in deep water, etc.
“My friend Thuc is still young, but through every night camping trip, I see that he sleeps very well and is always excited because there are many brothers and sisters to play with. As for Dau and Bap, they become bolder, communicate better, and the children also feel comfortable and motivated before the new school week starts again," said Ms. Oanh.
