To achieve these results, throughout the term, Party building work received special attention, not only in terms of organizational breadth but also in terms of ideological depth, ethics, and action. Training and political theory education for cadres, Party members, and the masses yielded good results . Over the past five years, the Company's Party Committee has admitted 298 new Party members, maintained the "Four Good Party Branch" model effectively, and promoted the role of the political nucleus in all aspects of work. Party committees at all levels regularly inspected and supervised, maintaining orderly Party branch activities, closely following production and the concerns of the workers. Annually, 100% of Party members wrote commitments to self-improvement and uphold revolutionary ethical standards, linked to studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings.
When the organization's leadership capacity is strengthened, production and business operations are managed smoothly and efficiently. Mr. Nguyen Van Vu, Deputy Secretary of the Company's Party Committee, stated: During the 2020-2025 period, the Company produced 20.3 million tons of raw coal, averaging 4.06 million tons per year, exceeding the target set in the Resolution of the 23rd Party Congress. Revenue growth reached 5.46% per year; profits remained stable at an average of 145 billion VND per year. Total tax contributions reached over 5,272 billion VND, increasing by nearly 5% per year; making a significant contribution to the provincial budget and the Group. The average salary across the Company reached 19.9 million VND per person per month, steadily increasing over the years, clearly reflecting the genuine growth of the enterprise.
Mining operations are increasingly taking place at deeper and more remote depths, with complex and fluctuating geological conditions, requiring synchronized technical and technological solutions. "The company has boldly invested in many modern mechanized mining systems, such as synchronized longwall mining systems using ZH1600 support frames, scraper conveyors, fire-resistant conveyor belts, hydraulic rotary drilling rigs… bringing high efficiency and improving working conditions. A centralized operating system through mining management software, online equipment monitoring, smart cameras, automatic gas measurement… has been strongly implemented," said Mr. Ngo Van Cu, Party Secretary and Head of the Mining Technology Department.
In particular, the implementation of the "Green Mine - Smart Mine - Safe Mine" model has marked a proactive step in digital transformation, improving the efficiency of production management, safety, and the environment. Over the past five years, the company has invested hundreds of billions of VND in key projects, such as the main ventilation station, drainage system, upgrading coal and rock conveyor belts, modernizing vehicle washing areas, mine waste storage yards, settling ponds, and wastewater treatment plants to meet standards. Alongside this, projects to improve the environmental landscape, greening waste dumps, and planting trees along transportation routes have been implemented systematically. An automated environmental monitoring system has been installed in key areas to scientifically and transparently control water, air, and dust quality. From the mindset of "exploitation goes hand in hand with resource protection," the company has gradually built an image of an environmentally friendly enterprise in harmony with the community.
Caring for the well-being of workers has always been a central focus of the Party Committee's leadership. Workers' housing areas have been renovated to be more spacious and modern; canteens, bathrooms, and sports and cultural facilities have been invested in comprehensively; and meal allowances, hazardous work allowances, support for the sick, and assistance for workers far from home have been fully implemented. In the past five years, the company has recruited 2,038 new workers, sent 1,988 trainees for vocational training, and organized advanced training for over 23,000 people. This is not only an investment in human resources but also a way for Vang Danh to nurture the next generation of skilled and dedicated miners.
Today, Vang Danh Coal Mine not only maintains its role as a leading unit in underground coal mining, but also serves as a model of sustainable and humane enterprise.
