The Khau Lang pedestrian bridge is an essential transportation project, serving the travel and goods transportation needs of nearly 90 households, mainly Nung and Mong ethnic minorities in Khau Lang and Khau Luong villages. The bridge is 15 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and the total estimated investment cost is 500 million VND.
The project was implemented through the coordination of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune, along with the following organizations: Anh Sang Nui Rung, the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund, and philanthropist Nguyen Thi Hai ( Hanoi ). Of this amount, the organizations and philanthropists contributed 380 million VND, with the remainder contributed by the local people.
The Khau Lang village pedestrian bridge is expected to be completed and put into use within one month. The project will contribute to ensuring traffic safety, creating favorable conditions for trade and daily life, and promoting socio -economic development in the locality.
Later that same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune continued the construction of the Kien Thiet commune entrance gate with a total estimated cost of 200 million VND from social contributions.
These two projects are practical activities to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress; the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
