Ho Chi Minh City will proceed with completing, matching, and supplementing information for nearly 2.5 million land parcels.
During the peak 60-day period from now until June 15th, Ho Chi Minh City will complete, cross-check, and supplement information for nearly 2.5 million land parcels.
In addition, complete the cadastral surveying and mapping (if any), land registration, cadastral record creation, and land database construction for more than 447,000 land parcels for management and utilization, to be completed before December this year. The progress is divided into quarters: Quarter II will complete 120,909 parcels, Quarter III will complete 205,993 parcels, and Quarter IV will complete 120,909 parcels.
With approximately 2,494,709 land parcels already in the database, the city will conduct a review, cross-checking, and supplementing of information to standardize it according to the criteria of "accurate - complete - clean - livable". This completion includes synchronizing three data groups: spatial data, attribute data, and unstructured data (scanned records).
Simultaneously, Ho Chi Minh City continues to maintain, update, and effectively utilize 1,340,362 land parcels that meet the criteria of "correct - complete - clean - livable," ensuring that data is managed in a digital environment, updated with real-time changes, and ready for reuse in resolving administrative procedures.
To ensure synchronized operation, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has agreed to use common platform and specialized software in managing the land information system, while also reviewing and upgrading the information technology infrastructure.
Another focus is restructuring the administrative procedures for land-related matters towards comprehensive digitalization. The city will minimize paper documents for information already available in the database, such as residential data or digitized land parcel information; expand the list of online public services; and allow public service systems to connect and directly access the land database.
The land database will also be used as a foundational data layer, connecting with other sectors such as planning, public investment, finance, taxation, and urban management, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the city's digital transformation.
Furthermore, Ho Chi Minh City will strengthen the connection and sharing of land data with relevant agencies and units to facilitate the resolution of administrative procedures related to land and assets attached to land, while also supporting the quick and transparent determination of financial obligations for citizens and businesses.
