On the morning of July 19th, Dong Da ward launched a campaign to ensure urban order, traffic safety, and environmental hygiene; and implemented the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" emulation movement in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Ngoc Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Da Ward, emphasized that from the very beginning of its operation and in the draft Political Report of the Ward Party Committee for the next five years, the goal of building Dong Da Ward into a model ward for urban civilization, "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful," has been set. This task has been concretized through the launch of a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the Capital and the country.
To ensure that environmental sanitation is maintained as a regular practice, like "eating and drinking every day," the Party Secretary of Dong Da ward emphasized that working together to preserve and build a more civilized and beautiful Dong Da ward requires the participation of the entire political system, with the people at the center of service, leveraging the strength of people's participation as the core; stemming from the self-awareness and responsibility of each citizen, for the health of themselves, their families, and the community.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Da Ward, Nguyen Trong Hai, called on every household, every street, and every residential group to simultaneously carry out a general cleanup, remove garbage, clear overgrown vegetation, whitewash tree trunks, and plant and care for flowers, grass, and trees. Political and social organizations, armed forces, and volunteer youth actively participated in removing advertisements, eliminating "garbage hotspots," collecting waste, and beautifying public areas. Businesses and enterprises in the area seriously signed commitments not to litter indiscriminately, not to violate environmental regulations, and to actively participate in maintaining the landscape of their business premises.
Immediately after the launch ceremony, the participating forces were deployed to specific streets. Initially, they focused on four main thoroughfares considered the face of Dong Da ward: Tay Son - Nguyen Luong Bang - Xa Dan, Thai Ha, Lang Ha, and Lang - Nga Tu So.

The routes are directed and supervised by the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee; with clear assignment of responsibilities, tasks, and accountability, followed by post-inspection, supervision, and cross-checking.
Following the example of the main thoroughfares, other streets, alleys within residential areas, agencies, units, schools, households, etc., are also implementing environmental sanitation and ensuring urban order and civility with the participation and assignment of areas according to neighborhood groups and residential area Party branches.
