During the meeting, Comrade Le Quoc Phong suggested that Binh Chau commune effectively leverage its advantages in ecotourism associated with forest and marine conservation; research and develop high-tech agriculture; and focus on building distinctive tourism products and night-time economy under the Binh Chau brand to increase the length of stay and spending of tourists.
According to the report, in the first six months of 2026, the total value of production across economic sectors in Binh Chau commune is estimated at 1,023.94 billion VND, an increase of 22.5% compared to the same period in 2025. The locality received 6,405 administrative procedure applications, resolved 6,244 applications, with a timely resolution rate of 99.8%; social welfare, national defense and security were maintained.
The Party Committee of Binh Chau commune requested the city to address obstacles related to the project of relocating residents from the Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, and to support livelihood transformation for the people; at the same time, to consider prioritizing investment in projects to beautify coastal urban areas, transportation infrastructure, wastewater treatment, fisheries infrastructure, and other projects serving local socio-economic development.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Quoc Phong acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee and the government of Binh Chau commune in the first six months of 2026. He requested the locality to focus on accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital, considering this an important task to promote growth and improve infrastructure; and at the same time, clearly identify breakthrough areas to create momentum for development in the new phase.
Regarding social welfare work, Comrade Le Quoc Phong suggested that the locality strive to work together with the entire city to effectively achieve the goal of providing health check-ups for 100% of the population; and proactively request support from the city when there is a shortage of medical personnel. Binh Chau commune will continue to implement the construction of two pilot hamlets in achieving the goal of drug-free communes and wards, and then evaluate the effectiveness to replicate it throughout the entire area.
The comrade suggested that the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee focus on accelerating the disbursement of public investment funds, considering this a crucial task to promote growth and improve infrastructure. At the same time, the locality needs to clearly identify breakthrough areas to create momentum for development in the new phase.

Regarding Party building work, Comrade Le Quoc Phong requested that the locality continue to promote digitalization in Party work, digital transformation in governance and administration; improve the quality of Party branch activities; perfect the system of criteria for evaluating cadres in a substantive and objective manner; review staffing levels, assess the effectiveness of human resource utilization, and finalize recommendations and proposals to the city in a specific, clear, and accountable manner for prompt consideration and resolution.
