Touching special art program "You are Ho Chi Minh"

The special art program “You are Ho Chi Minh ” includes 3 parts: “Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh”; “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh” and “Vietnam! The era of rising up”.

Part I of the program takes viewers back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in the midst of colonial misery, the whole country was seething with fighting spirit with many patriotic movements and resilient uprisings... but all were suppressed.

In that situation, the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung was born and grew up with the loving lullaby of Nghe An folk songs. The scene of the mother carrying the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung with her family to Hue , along with the deep melody of the song "Listening to the boat singing at night, remembering Uncle Ho" - a composition by musician An Thuyen - moved the audience.

The first part of the program ended with the scene “Father and son for great cause” – excerpt from the play “Debt to the country” by author Nguyen The Ky, the song “Footprints ahead”…, at the same time opening a new journey, the journey of the ambitious young man Nguyen Tat Thanh “looking for the image of the country”, becoming the international communist soldier Nguyen Ai Quoc.

In the second part of the program with the theme “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh”, the audience was introduced to many elaborately staged performances: Scene, poetry-dance “The embryonic image of the country”; mash-up “The Party flag - The Party is my life”; the song “Singing in the Pac Bo forest”; scene “The five-pointed golden star, the dreamy soul around”…

This passage recreates the journey of Him absorbing the quintessence of humanity, finding the way to save the country, participating in international movements, founding the Party and the great and brilliant achievements in the revolutionary stages of 1930-1975 and the period of Renovation - Integration - Development, the Ho Chi Minh Era.

The program brings together many famous artists.

Section III with the theme “Vietnam! The Era of Rising” brings many famous works such as “You are Ho Chi Minh”; “We love Uncle Ho Chi Minh”, “Uncle Ho, You gave me everything”, “Ho Chi Minh - The Sun of Truth”; “Ho Chi Minh's Song”… This section affirms that President Ho Chi Minh not only devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation but also to the struggle of progressive humanity for conscience and human dignity, for world peace and friendship between nations.

The art performances are elaborately staged, combining traditional and modern music and dance, staged scenes and 3D mapping technology.

The audience enthusiastically cheered the artists.

Artistic highlights such as the opera medley “Uncle Ho and Children”; the scene “Father and Son for Great Cause”; the poetry and dance scene “The Embryonic Shape of the Country”; the poetry scene “The Five-pointed Golden Star Surrounds the Soul”… are emotional slices about President Ho Chi Minh. Viewers can see the image of the beloved leader, the Hero of National Liberation, the World Cultural Celebrity through songs written about him over the years, such as: “Last night I dreamed of meeting Uncle Ho”; “Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children and teenagers”; “Listening to the ferry singing at night, I miss Uncle Ho”; “Footprints in the Front”; “Uncle Ho’s Love Brightens Our Lives”…

The program brings together famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Be Singer Group, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, An Thu An; artists of drama theaters, artists of Vietnam Music and Dance Theater.

“You are Ho Chi Minh” is a program in a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at widely propagating and educating people of all walks of life to fully and deeply understand the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.

Through artistic performances and touching stories, the program vividly depicts the image of the Great Teacher of the Vietnamese Revolution, the Hero of National Liberation, and an Outstanding Cultural Celebrity; at the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation.
