The first segment of the program takes viewers back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, amidst the misery of colonial rule, when the entire country was seething with fighting spirit, with numerous patriotic movements and tenacious uprisings… all of which were suppressed.
In those circumstances, the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung was born and grew up lulled by the affectionate folk songs of Nghe An province. The scene of the mother carrying a yoke with the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung accompanying the family to Hue , along with the profound melody of the song "Listening to the boatman's song at night, remembering Uncle Ho" - a composition by musician An Thuyen - moved the viewers.

The first segment of the program concludes with the scene "Father and Son for a Great Cause" – an excerpt from the play "Debt to the Nation" by author Nguyen The Ky, the song "Footprints Ahead"..., and simultaneously opens a new journey, the journey of the ambitious young man Nguyen Tat Thanh "in search of the image of the Nation," becoming the international communist fighter Nguyen Ai Quoc.
In segment II of the program, themed "Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh," the audience was presented with many elaborately staged performances: a dramatization, poetry-dance "The Embryonic Image of the Nation"; a mash-up of "The Party Flag - The Party is My Life"; the song "The Song in the Pac Bo Forest"; and a dramatization of "The Five-Pointed Golden Star, a Dream Surrounding My Soul"...
This segment recreates the journey of President Ho Chi Minh in absorbing the best of humanity, finding the path to national salvation, participating in international movements, founding the Party, and achieving brilliant and great accomplishments during the revolutionary periods of 1930-1975 and the period of Renovation - Integration - Development, the Ho Chi Minh Era.

Section III, themed "Vietnam! An Era of Resurgence," presents many famous works such as "He is Ho Chi Minh"; "We Love Uncle Ho Chi Minh"; "Uncle Ho, He Gave Me Everything"; "Ho Chi Minh - The Sun of Truth"; "The Song of Ho Chi Minh"... This section affirms that President Ho Chi Minh not only dedicated his entire life to the cause of national liberation but also to the struggle of progressive humanity for conscience and human dignity, for world peace and friendship between nations.
The artistic performances were elaborately staged, combining tradition and modernity through song, dance, theatrical scenes, and 3D mapping projection technology.

Viewers encounter the image of the beloved leader, the national liberation hero, and a world cultural figure through timeless songs written about him, such as: "Last Night I Dreamed of Uncle Ho"; "Who Loves Uncle Ho More Than Young Children?"; "Listening to the Boatman's Song at Night, Remembering Uncle Ho"; "Footprints Ahead"; "Uncle Ho's Love Shines on Our Lives"...
The program brings together renowned artists such as: Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Be Singer group, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, An Thu An; artists from the theater, and artists from the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
"He is Ho Chi Minh" is a program within a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at widely disseminating and educating all segments of the population to fully and deeply understand the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.
Through artistic performances and touching stories, the program vividly portrays the image of the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and the outstanding cultural figure; at the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating the patriotic tradition, revolutionary ideals, and the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people from all walks of life, especially the younger generation.
