According to VNA, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), major Lao newspapers such as Pasaxon (People's Newspaper), the mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party; Pathet Lao Newspaper, a publication of the Lao News Agency (KPL), have simultaneously published articles praising the great President Ho Chi Minh, such as "President Ho Chi Minh, the Hero of the Vietnamese National Liberation, an outstanding soldier of the communist movement", or "President Ho Chi Minh on the path to finding a way to save the country"...

The articles all affirm that President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, is an outstanding symbol of the determination of an entire nation, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, contributing to the common struggle of oppressed peoples in the world , for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress.

For the Vietnamese revolution, Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh was a man of historic decisions at historic turning points. When the national struggle was in a deadlock regarding direction, Nguyen Ai Quoc (the name of President Ho Chi Minh during his revolutionary activities in France) found the way for the Vietnamese revolution.

President Ho Chi Minh led the people to carry out a general uprising to seize power for the people, establishing a new state, a state of the people, by the people and for the people. President Ho Chi Minh was the soul of the Vietnamese people's nine-year long resistance war as well as in the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country.
