Shoe sole factory caught fire

According to local authorities, at around 1:30 p.m. on August 4, a shoe sole processing factory in La Xa village, Dan Chu commune (Tu Ky, Hai Duong ) suddenly caught fire.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police), Tu Ky District Police mobilized fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

Because there were many flammable objects inside the factory, the fire quickly spread fiercely (Photo: HN).

By around 3:30 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. Because the factory contained many flammable objects, the police had to continuously spray water to prevent the fire from breaking out again.

At the time of the fire, when workers discovered it, they quickly escaped safely so there were no human casualties.

Initial statistics from authorities show that the burned area was about 500 square meters of the factory, and many objects were burned by the fire.

Investigators are clarifying the cause and calculating the damage of the fire.
