These include: 40 export-oriented codes covering over 373 hectares (tea, pomelo, agarwood) in the districts of Van Chan, Yen Binh, and Van Yen; 1 export-oriented cardamom growing area covering over 500 hectares in Mu Cang Chai district; and 62 codes for domestic consumption covering over 290 hectares (tea, rice, citrus fruits, dragon fruit, vegetables, bananas, turmeric, galangal, mushrooms, medicinal herbs) in the districts of Van Yen, Tran Yen, Yen Binh, Van Chan, Luc Yen, Mu Cang Chai, Nghia Lo town, and Yen Bai city.
Obtaining a planting area code will significantly contribute to building trust and affirming the reputation of local agricultural products in domestic and international markets; helping people, businesses, and local management officials improve the efficiency of managing the quality of agricultural and forestry products, aiming to expand scale, increase productivity, quality, and value of products, contributing to the development of the agricultural economy .
