Including: 40 codes for export with over 373 hectares (tea, grapefruit, Aquilaria) in the districts of Van Chan, Yen Binh, Van Yen; 1 code for cardamom export growing area with an area of over 500 hectares in Mu Cang Chai district and 62 codes for domestic consumption with over 290 hectares (tea, rice, citrus fruit, dragon fruit, vegetables, bananas, turmeric, galangal, mushrooms, medicinal herbs) in the districts of Van Yen, Tran Yen, Yen Binh, Van Chan, Luc Yen, Mu Cang Chai, Nghia Lo town and Yen Bai city.
Being granted a growing area code will significantly contribute to creating trust and affirming the reputation of local agricultural products in the domestic and international markets; helping local people, businesses and managers improve the efficiency of managing the quality of agricultural and forestry products, aiming to expand the scale, improve productivity, quality and value of products, contributing to building a developed agricultural economy .
