Designed for convenience and ease of travel, these vehicles offer visitors a unique and eco-friendly way to explore the capital’s bustling streets.
Marking a milestone in Vietnam’s urban transport, these electric vehicles are the first of their kind to be publicly allowed on city roads. Compact and user-friendly, each vehicle can carry up to 130kg that perfect for a single rider and can travel up to 90km at a speed of 25km/hour. With practical features like a front basket and the ability to function as a regular bicycle when the battery runs out, tourists can enjoy a seamless blend of innovation and flexibility.
To enhance convenience, the operating unit plans to establish virtual stations at restaurants, cafes and other public spaces within Hanoi. This will allow users to rent and return vehicles with ease, ensuring a smooth and accessible experience for both locals and visitors.

Using the electric two-wheelers is simple: download the app, register an account, top up credit, and scan the QR code to unlock a vehicle. As a special launch promotion, rides are completely free, encouraging tourists to try this new way of exploring Hanoi.
Tri Nam Group (TNG), the company behind the initiative, highlighted that the pilot program is part of a broader effort to diversify public transportation, promote environmentally friendly travel, and align with Hanoi’s sustainable urban development goals.
Initially, 500 vehicles will be deployed at 130 licensed stations in the Old Quarter and nearby streets within Hanoi’s Ring Road 1, covering areas such as Au Co, Nghi Tam, and Nguyen Khoai Dike. The next phase will extend the network to Ring Road 2, including Ba Dinh and Cau Giay areas, and Ring Road 3, encompassing Long Bien and Gia Lam areas, making it easier than ever for both residents and tourists to navigate the city.
By offering an economical, eco-conscious, and highly convenient mode of transport, Hanoi’s new electric two-wheelers promise not only to enhance mobility but also to elevate the tourism experience, allowing visitors to discover the city’s charms at their own pace.
