Incheon has the largest airport in South Korea, is considered a gateway city, and possesses abundant marine resources, historical sites, and is famous for its clean air.

According to the Incheon Tourism Promotion Agency, the city is not only a transit gateway between South Korea and the international community but also offers many destinations for tourists to experience. Incheon has 168 islands and cultural and historical sites such as Gaehangjang, Chinatown, and Ganghwa. Below are 10 outstanding tourist destinations recommended by the Incheon Tourism Promotion Agency to Vietnamese visitors.

In Gaehangjang, visitors can visit museums and cafes. The first noodle museum in Korea (pictured) displays artifacts about the history of noodle dishes such as noodles, vermicelli, and rice noodles. The museum has an interactive area where visitors can experience regional dishes.

Chinatown is home to many historical sites such as Euiseondang Temple and the Incheon Chinese History Museum. The main gate of the area is opposite Incheon Station, making it a popular spot for tourists to take photos.

This is also a paradise for Chinese food lovers , with dishes like red bean cakes, candied grape skewers, and black bean sauce noodles (jiajangmyeon).

Incheon also boasts abundant marine resources. Visitors can visit Wolmi Island, which features numerous scenic spots and entertainment areas. To fully appreciate the island's beauty, visitors can experience a 6km sea-crossing ferry ride, departing from Wolmibada Station and taking 33 minutes. The ferry runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekends.

At Wolmi Island ferry terminal, there are cruise ships offering sightseeing tours around the islands. The boats sail around Yeongjong Island and Mukchi Island.

Visitors can also take a ferry from Wolmi Harbor, which runs between Wolmi Island and Yeongjong Island.

Another must-see in Incheon is Songdo International City, a tourist city and the center of the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ). This urban area, however, still retains a significant amount of green space. The most popular tourist activity is shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet or Triple Street.

Incheon International Campground is a place where visitors can enjoy green space in the heart of the modern city of Songdo. Located near the coast, the park boasts a cool atmosphere and offers a variety of camping options, including caravans and outdoor tents of all sizes.

The Peace Observatory on Ganghwa Island (pictured) is a popular destination for tourists visiting Incheon. From the observatory, visitors can see Mount Songak and a panoramic view of Haechang and Samdal villages in Gaepung County, North Korea. On clear days, visitors can clearly see the daily life of the North Korean people.

Baedari Old Book Street (pictured) is located in Dongu, Incheon's smallest district, which boasts numerous historical sites and cultural heritage sites related to South Korea's industrialization period. Established in the early 20th century, the district is renowned for its antique bookstores and valuable documents, serving as a cultural hub and a venue for various art events. Bookstores in Baedari are typically open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Incheon Grand Park is the city's largest natural park, situated between Mount Gwanmosan and Sangasan. The park features green areas, botanical gardens, cherry blossom groves, a lake, and a small zoo. Visitors can enjoy walking and cycling while sightseeing. Those wishing to have a day trip can visit the picnic area. The park attracts visitors in all four seasons, especially during autumn foliage and cherry blossom season.

A representative from the Incheon Tourism Promotion Agency stated that the city also hosts major events such as the cherry blossom festival in April, the beer and chicken festival in August, and fireworks festivals.
