The Ho Chi Minh City Open Singles Championship - Nam A Bank Cup is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Golf Association in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports. This is the third season, aiming to provide a high-level competitive arena for amateur golfers in the southern region. The tournament also aims to select players for the Ho Chi Minh City golf team to participate in upcoming tournaments, including the 2026 National Games .

The tournament will be played in a stroke play format over two rounds of 18 holes (out of a total of 36 holes) to determine the champion. Golfers ranked from 1st to 12th overall will be invited to participate in a 3-day, 2-night golf tour in Southeast Asia.
Playing at the Royal Long An Golf & Country Club, a 27-hole international standard golf course designed by golf legend Sir Nick Faldo, offers a unique experience. Its distinctive terrain, featuring winding fairways, interwoven lakes and sand dunes, promises to present exciting challenges for golfers.

Besides the Ho Chi Minh City Open Singles Championship, for nearly 20 years, the Ho Chi Minh City Golf Association has also co-organized many tournaments such as: the Ho Chi Minh City Open Championship, the Ho Chi Minh City Open Junior Golf Championship, the Ho Chi Minh City Open Club Championship, Swing for Life... thereby making a positive contribution to the development of the golf movement in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.
