165 delegates attended the Congress of Party Delegates of the Ministry of Education and Training for the 2025 - 2030 term

GD&TĐ - On August 21, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress was held under the motto: “Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development”. The Congress was attended by 165 delegates from 30 Party cells and affiliated Party committees. Leaders of the Government Party Committee are expected to attend and give speeches to direct the Congress.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training , term 2025 - 2030, has the task of summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term 2020 - 2025, deciding on the direction, goals and tasks for the term 2025 - 2030.

The congress took place in two sessions: a preparatory session and an official session.

At the preparatory session (morning of August 21), the Congress will elect the Presidium, Secretariat, and Delegate Qualifications Review Board; and approve the Congress's Program and Working Regulations.

The Presidium will present to the Congress a report summarizing comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, and a report summarizing comments on the draft political report to be submitted to the 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

At the official session (afternoon of August 21), the Congress will listen to the Presidium present the Report on verification of delegates' qualifications; the Political Report of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training for the 2020-2025 term presented to the Congress; the Review Report of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training for the 2020-2025 term presented to the Congress and conduct discussions.

Also at this session, the Government Party Committee announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term I, 2025-2030, and announced the Decision to appoint delegates to the Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030. The Party Executive Committee for the term 2025-2030 was introduced to take up its duties. At the same time, the Congress voted to approve the draft Resolution of the Congress.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term 2025 - 2030, took place in the context of the country's foundation, potential, position and international prestige thanks to the crystallization of thousands of years of national culture, especially the achievements of 95 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, 80 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 40 years of renovation and the great contributions and sacrifices of many generations of party members and of the masses.

This is also the time when the country enters a new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise. The country is facing a historic opportunity to develop rapidly, successfully achieving two goals: 100 years under the leadership of the Party, 100 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and in the atmosphere of the education and training sector preparing for the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 with a spirit of innovation and creativity, towards an effective and quality school year.

The national education system plays a pivotal role in building a new generation of Vietnamese people with enough courage, intelligence, and health to build an independent, self-reliant, and deeply integrated economy based on the main driving force of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, developing high-quality human resources, and effectively exploiting the advantages of deep international integration.
