Throughout more than two decades of dominating top-level football, superstar Messi has almost conquered every coveted glory.
Since winning La Liga with Barcelona in 2005, M10 has won a total of 47 titles, including two Copa America championships and the 2022 World Cup with the Argentine national team.
Despite possessing an "unbeatable" collection of titles, two trophies are still elusive for the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Following his latest setback with Inter Miami, the superstar born in 1987 will have to wait until at least 2027 if he wants to achieve one of those two unfulfilled goals.

The first title Messi is still missing is the CONCACAF Champions Cup, considered the North American version of the Champions League.
Since joining Inter Miami, Messi and his teammates have repeatedly expressed their ambition to conquer this competition, but so far they have yet to reach the finish line.
In 2024, the Major League Soccer (MLS) representatives disappointed by being eliminated by Monterrey in the quarterfinals. Inter Miami lost both legs against the Mexican team.
Last season, Messi's team progressed further, reaching the semi-finals. Along the way, Inter Miami successively overcame the Cavaliers of Jamaica, and then two MLS representatives, Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles FC.
However, in the semi-finals, they were completely outmatched by Vancouver Whitecaps, losing with a total score of 1-5 after two matches.
In this season's competition, Inter Miami were eliminated early after a 1-1 draw with Nashville. Despite Messi scoring his 900th career goal, his team was still knocked out due to the away goals rule.
The only title Messi has yet to win is the French Cup. This is also the only trophy he has failed to conquer during his time playing in Europe, if only considering the competitions he has participated in.
In his two seasons with PSG, Messi was eliminated in the round of 16 of this competition. In January 2022, PSG were knocked out by Nice, with Messi starting but failing to score.
The following season, just months after winning the World Cup with Argentina, he and PSG lost 1-2 to Marseille in the round of 16.
