Two Realme smartphones have left the community questioning the meaning of life.

Ahead of the upcoming Realme Fan Festival 828 (August 28th), Realme has unveiled a teaser for a smartphone boasting groundbreaking new technologies. Fans witnessed a Realme phone with a massive 15,000mAh battery, along with a new Chill Fan Phone model equipped with an integrated AC active cooling system.

Smartphones with 15,000 mAh batteries open up the prospect of phones that can be used comfortably for days without needing to be charged. As you can see, that's an incredible amount of battery life. For comparison, the Samsung S25 Ultra, with only 5,000 mAh, can easily last all day without running out of power. Three times that amount means you'll forget to grab a charger every time you need to, since you might only need to use it once every few days.

According to the manufacturer, this massive battery allows the device to operate continuously for up to 5 days. Specific tests show that the device can record video for 18 hours straight, play video for 50 hours without interruption, and meet typical usage needs for almost a week.

To achieve a 15,000mAh battery in a slim design, realme implemented three key improvements. First, they used a pure silicon anode – a technology being applied to smartphones for the first time.

Secondly, the traditional liquid electrolyte has been replaced with a solid electrolyte, allowing the energy density to reach a record high of 1200 Wh/L. As a result, the battery not only has a massive capacity but also maintains a compact size.

It's compact in the truest sense of the word, compared to smartphones using conventional lithium-ion batteries. It's just 8.5 mm thin and weighs 215 grams.

For comparison, here's a Realme 15000mAh power bank placed next to a power bank of equivalent capacity. One fan jokingly commented: "Today Realme introduced a smartphone but it's causing power bank manufacturers to go out of business. I'm starting to doubt the meaning of things."

Besides battery technology, some specifications of the Realme 15,000mAh phone have also been leaked. The device, codenamed “Realme 15000mAh”, features a 6.7-inch screen, uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage options.

The other device is the “Chill Fan Phone” – the world’s first smartphone equipped with AC Cooling technology. Unlike the familiar ventilation fans found on gaming phones, realme’s AC Cooling system is marketed as a “mini air conditioner” inside the phone.

According to the company, this technology can reduce core temperature by up to 6°C and, importantly, allows for flexible on/off control depending on needs. This means users can proactively "activate the air conditioner" when playing demanding games or recording 4K/8K video, and then turn it off to save battery during lighter usage.

Technically, realme hasn't released the details yet, but tech experts predict the system may combine active cooling fans, vapor chambers, and even Peltier semiconductor modules, a technology commonly used in small cooling devices. This combination is believed to provide faster and more efficient cooling than a simple fan alone. All will be revealed on August 27th.
