The Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee unanimously approved the early retirement requests of 21 key provincial and district leaders.

On the afternoon of February 6th, Mr. Dang Ngoc Huy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, stated that at a meeting this morning, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee unanimously approved the early retirement requests of 21 key provincial and district leaders under the management of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, among the 21 leading officials who wished to retire early to meet the requirements of streamlining the apparatus in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, some leaders still have more than 3 years of service remaining and hold key leadership positions at the provincial and district levels.

Reportedly, to date, the entire province of Quang Ngai has 256 officials, civil servants, and employees from 36 agencies, units, and localities registered to implement the downsizing policy according to Government decrees, including 21 leading officials under the management of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee.
