3 guerrillas in Cam Vu commune (Cam Giang) were recognized as martyrs.

The whole province currently has 38,941 martyrs.

Hai Duong has 3 more cases awarded the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate by the Prime Minister, recognized as martyrs in 2024.
They are martyrs: Nguyen Gia Tia (born in 1927), Dang Tien Muc (born in 1925) and Nguyen Ngoc Quynh (born in 1920), all from Cam Vu commune, Cam Giang district.

The martyrs were all guerrillas, active during the resistance war against France, sacrificed on March 20, 1948, and were taken away by the enemy to be eliminated (missing).

In December 2023, after examining the attached documents and comparing them with Decree No. 131/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 of the Government detailing measures to implement the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Revolutionary Contributions, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and proposed the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to submit to the Prime Minister a decision to award the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to recognize martyrs for the above 3 cases.
