The 2025 International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival is an important task to celebrate major events of the country and Hanoi city; to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Agriculture and Environment.

The 2025 International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival is also organized to preserve and promote the identity and traditional cultural values of the nation, forming contemporary cultural features of Vietnamese craft villages, in which craft villages of Hanoi city are taken as the center to spread to localities.
This is also an opportunity to honor craft villages, artisans, skilled workers, and workers in craft villages, while at the same time arousing the love of traditional crafts among the younger generation, thereby attracting a young, qualified workforce to participate in the activities and production and business of craft villages. At the same time, this is an opportunity to promote, introduce, and promote trade in craft village products of the capital Hanoi to a large number of domestic and international tourists.
The 2025 International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival is expected to last for 5 days from November 14-18, 2025 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site, along with many sideline activities from September to November throughout the city. The event is chaired by the Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The main activities of the 2025 International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival include: Incense offering ceremony at Kinh Thien Palace - Thang Long Imperial Citadel; Opening ceremony of the 2025 International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival and honoring and awarding prizes to the Vietnam Handicraft Product Contest; Hanoi Craft Village Product Contest; organizing exhibition spaces, performing, creating typical craft village works of Hanoi city, provinces and cities in the country and international craft villages with the theme "Conservation - Development - Integration"...
In addition to the main activities, there are also sideline events, such as: Organizing a workshop on preserving and developing Hanoi craft villages; Vietnam handicraft product contest; Hanoi city craft village product contest; Conference on promoting investment in developing rural and craft village products; participating in the Kokan - Uzbekistan World Craft Festival 2025, creative cities in the World Craft Council network...
