(HTV) - The closing ceremony of the excellent teacher competition and the "Creative Drawing with Bitex" children's competition for the 2025-2026 school year recently took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training recently held a ceremony to summarize and award prizes for the city's excellent preschool teacher competition and the "Children's Creative Drawing with Bitex, New Energy for a Fun Day" program for the 2025-2026 school year.

The competition took place from December 2025 to April 2026, attracting more than 16,500 teachers. After the selection round, 329 outstanding teachers were chosen to compete at the city level. Of these, 34 teachers won first prize, 90 teachers won second prize, and 205 teachers won third prize.

Delegates attending the closing ceremony listened to a report on the competition results and accompanying creative activities.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the entries demonstrated a spirit of innovation and creativity, enhancing the application of information technology, artificial intelligence (AI), digital learning materials, and AR technology in child-centered educational activities. Teachers flexibly applied STEAM methods, experiential learning, and designed multi-sensory learning environments, contributing to the development of communication skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities in children.

At the closing ceremony, the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates to the winning teachers and commended individuals and groups who participated in the 4th "New Energy for a Fun Day" Preschool Motor Development Day and the "Creative Drawing with Bitex" Day.
