600 audience members were scammed when buying tickets for Taylor Swift's show.

Around 600 fans were scammed out of a total of over one million pounds while trying to buy tickets for The Eras Tour - Taylor Swift's concert series.

According to The Guardian , Lloyds Bank in the UK reported that over 600 customers were scammed out of money when buying tickets to Taylor Swift's show – more than any other artist. On average, each audience member lost £332 (approximately 10.5 million VND), with some cases exceeding £1,000 (approximately 31.6 million VND).

Ninety percent of the victims bought tickets from unknown accounts on Facebook. The scammers targeted loyal fans eager to see Taylor Swift's show, then tricked them into transferring money without delivering tickets. The number of people who fell victim to this scam across the UK could reach 3,000.

Representatives from Lloyds stated that this problem has recently increased due to Taylor Swift's upcoming restart of The Eras Tour in Europe in May after a two-month break. In the UK, the American superstar will hold 15 shows, including eight at Wembley Stadium in London, setting a record for the most shows by a female singer on a single tour there. The company advises that tickets should only be purchased from authorized platforms, such as AXS and Ticketmaster.

Earlier, thousands of fans were also scammed when buying tickets to Taylor Swift's concert in Singapore in early March. According to The Straits Times , 960 people fell victim to the scam, losing more than $538,000 (13.6 billion VND), with the majority of victims being women.

The Eras Tour has grossed over one billion USD to date, making Taylor Swift the only billionaire whose wealth is largely derived from music , according to Forbes . Each night, lasting over three and a half hours, the singer performs approximately 44 songs plus two surprise tracks not on the list, and changes 16 outfits. She meticulously prepares the show to resemble a Broadway stage, with high-quality stage, screens, choreography, and sound. The lighting, stage effects, props, setting, and costumes are all visually stunning and highlight the spirit of her 10 albums. The tour is scheduled to conclude in early December in Canada.
