Known to audiences as the runner-up of The Voice Kids Vietnam 2019, Khanh An has a good foundation for her musical career. In addition, she is widely known among folk music lovers as the "Bolero prodigy." This young singer from Hanoi has many songs with millions of views on YouTube.

Khánh An was the runner-up in The Voice Kids Vietnam 2019.

Five years after leaving the competition, Khanh An continues to pursue her passion for music and has grown increasingly mature. At the age of 18, Khanh An attracts attention with her gentle appearance and sweet voice. Currently, she is a student at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Despite having a solid foundation from the Vietnam Kids' Voice competition, Khanh An still maintains her studies. She says that singing events usually take place on weekends or evenings, so she can still balance everything.

Appearing in episode 12 of the Solo with Bolero program, Khanh An impressed viewers with her image in a white ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), showcasing her sweet voice in the song "Muoi Oi" (Oh Salt).

This is a song from the movie of the same name starring Quyền Linh, previously performed by singer Tố My. Notably, Tố My is also a judge on the Solo with Bolero program.

Khánh An has grown into a beautiful young woman at the age of 18.

Khánh An said that since she was born and raised in Hanoi , performing a song with the sweet charm of Southern Vietnamese folk music was a big challenge for her. However, the performance received many compliments from the judges.

"When singing this song, I felt like I was solving a difficult but interesting problem from the show. The song is beautiful and sweet, so I tried my best to win over the judges," the female singer said.

Khánh An shared that her motivation for participating in Solo with Bolero was her grandmother's wish; her grandmother had loved the program since its early seasons and hoped to see her granddaughter perform on this stage someday.

Khánh An's performance received much praise from judges Ngọc Sơn, Tố My, and others.

Singer Ngoc Son exclaimed, "Singing a hit song again will inevitably lead to comparisons, but Khanh An performed it very well, with her own unique style, overflowing with emotion and deep feeling." The male singer also expressed his hope that the 18-year-old girl will become a star of the bolero genre in the future.

Quang Lê also commented: "Your singing voice is very poignant. Although you were emotional, you still maintained your composure so as not to affect the performance."

As for Khanh An, she said that by participating in this competition, she hopes to learn more and gain more experience performing on a big stage. Each competition brings new lessons that will help her in her future endeavors.
