A Tale of Phu Quoc

"A Tale of Phu Quoc" is a short documentary film that introduces the diverse ecosystems and wildlife unique to Phu Quoc Island. The film takes viewers to explore underwater habitats, from coral reefs to seagrass meadows, where rare animals such as dugongs and whale sharks appear, in addition to colorful reef fish. At the same time, the film also introduces terrestrial animal life with Indochinese langurs, long-tailed macaques, and Phu Quoc's unique flora such as hemp. The film captures seascapes, streams, and waterfalls with high technical precision, demonstrating the efforts and dedication of the production team. This work emphasizes the importance of protecting and maintaining Phu Quoc's precious ecosystems!

The film was made by author Dau Van Duy. The film was submitted by the author to the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam", organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications . In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" will continue to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website   https://happy.vietnam.vn is for all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world . Thereby helping people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam.
