Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , designer Viet Hung said he and his team are completing the final designs of more than 1,000 ao dai for the upcoming parades.

Designer Viet Hung is responsible for designing Ao Dai for stage artists, intellectuals, media and designing Ao Dai for about 50 outstanding artists of Ho Chi Minh City.

The motifs that designer Viet Hung chose to put on the ao dai include: bronze drums, red flags with yellow stars, lotus flowers, doves, and images of Uncle Ho's soldiers.

"The bronze drum represents the soul of the nation. The red flag with yellow star represents the pride and glorious history of the nation, and symbolizes the youth and spirit of the country.

Hung also brought images of indomitable, loyal soldiers as a reminder of a generation determined to die for the Fatherland.

Along with that are the places associated with the glorious victories of the nation, the doves symbolizing peace ... All bring pride to the wearer" - Viet Hung shared with Tuoi Tre Online .
