Corn is rich in vitamins B and C, minerals, and fiber, providing many nutrients to the body and is a safe food for weight loss. Eating corn helps you feel full quickly, reducing cravings for snacks. The high fiber content in corn is good for health, preventing excess fat, reducing constipation, and improving digestion. Eating corn also helps boost immunity, control blood sugar, and is beneficial for people with diabetes.

However, eating too much corn is not good for your health. People with diabetes should limit their consumption because the large amount of carbohydrates in this food causes blood sugar to rise rapidly.

People with stomach problems should also avoid eating too much corn because it contains a lot of fiber, which can cause discomfort, bloating, and indigestion. Only one ear of corn per day is recommended.

The elderly, young children, and people with weak digestive systems should not eat corn regularly as it can put pressure on the stomach.

You shouldn't completely replace rice with corn; instead, you should diversify your diet. The correct principle for weight loss is to control food intake, balance the three energy-producing nutrients—protein, fat, and carbohydrates—and maintain daily physical activity. In addition, everyone needs to drink enough water and only snack when advised by a doctor.
