Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Nguyen Anh Minh, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, said that spring in Hanoi is a unique feature, a source of inspiration for artists who have lived and been attached to Hanoi, or even just stopped once on this sacred land of thousand-year-old mountains and rivers.

"There have been many literary and artistic works written about spring that have entered the consciousness of every citizen when mentioning Hanoi. Especially, with visual arts, the atmosphere, scenery, and harmony of spring in Hanoi have always been a source of inspiration for many generations of artists.

That source never stops, like the four seasons rotating in a year, like life always moving, developing, and growing," said Mr. Minh.

According to Dr. Nguyen Anh Minh, the display of original works combined with graphic techniques and 3D mapping projection in the Hanoi Spring exhibition will bring the public a new experience and new visual effects.

At the same time, continue to exploit the superiority of digital technology in displaying fine art works; propose solutions to promote the value of fine art works. In particular, valuable works and national treasures will appear more frequently and reach a wider audience of art lovers, both domestically and internationally.

Attending the exhibition, Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the theme of spring is always an idea that many artists love. The paintings displayed in the exhibition will partly preserve the true emotions of the artists every time Tet comes and spring comes.

"Through enjoying paintings, young people will understand and love more the cultural traditions of Tet ; thereby joining hands to preserve and conserve these sacred beauties. The combination of 3D mapping projection technology has also created a new approach to art for the public, especially young people - those living in the digital age", Mr. Vuong Duy Bien shared.

Hanoi Spring Exhibition opens from January 26 to February 25 on the 1st floor of Building B, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi).
