Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has 8 teams competing, from: United Kingdom, Poland, Canada, France, Finland, Australia, Italy and host Da Nang-Vietnam.
Each team will perform fireworks under their own theme every night, such as: "Peace for mankind", "Love without borders", "Conquer dreams", "Dance of nature".

Right after the opening ceremony was the performance of the home team Vietnam, with the story of peace and friendship through the theme "Da Nang - timbre of peace".
With the experience accumulated through 11 times participating in DIFF, the Da Nang team gave the audience an attractive start, with more than 4.500 firecrackers of all kinds, 128 different color effects. The beginning of the performance is a delicate combination of music and fireworks, with a gentle rhythm, evoking emotions and awakening the excitement of the audience.

The Finnish team expresses their strong emotions and love for life in the theme “Warm up the heart”. The story of a special journey - a journey back to a "new normal" life when Covid-19 pandemic struck.
With a variety of fireworks techniques, each fireworks beat was perfectly choreographed with cascading rays of light, in harmony with the powerful rock sound, bringing the audience through the emotional "ups and downs" like during the past 3 difficult years, and then sublimated when the epidemic was over, the world was closer together like never before.

Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023 is held every Friday night, starting from June 6 to July 2.
The next night on June 10 will be a performance between Canada and France with the theme "Love without borders".
