Nguyen Thi Anh Vien announced that she has completed her studies at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports. The former national swimmer announced this achievement on social media.
" Thus, Vien's 4-year journey at the University of Physical Education and Sports has come to an end. Thank you to my family, teachers and friends who have always been there to care for, teach, encourage and support me throughout this time ," the female swimmer born in 1996 shared.
Anh Vien is a student of the Swimming class, Faculty of Sports Training, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports. During her time studying here, the "little mermaid" won first prize at the National Student Scientific Research Conference on Physical Education and Sports in 2023 in May 2023. Anh Vien's topic is "Research on some measures to increase interest in swimming practice for children aged 8-10 at Anh Vien Swimming Club, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City".

Currently, Anh Vien is no longer playing for the national team. After many years of dedication, the girl from Can Tho has won 25 SEA Games gold medals, 2 ASIAD bronze medals, 1 Youth Olympic gold medal,... She is also the Vietnamese athlete with the largest investment in history with a budget of about 30 billion VND in the period 2011-2019.
After the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Anh Vien withdrew from the team with the desire to focus on her studies and personal life. In 2022, Anh Vien will still attend the 9th National Sports Festival in Hanoi. Anh Vien's competition management unit is the National Defense Sports Center 4.
Besides competing, Anh Vien opened a swimming center for children in Ho Chi Minh City. Returning to normal life, Anh Vien became more open on social networks. She often posts pictures and clips on Facebook and TikTok to share about her life as well as her swimming training skills.
On a recent TV show, Anh Vien revealed that she has a boyfriend.
