BIM is the process of creating and using information models in the design, construction, operation and maintenance stages of a project.
BIM helps state construction management agencies have a general and specific view of the suitability of planning, construction architecture, technical infrastructure... to serve the work of approving planning, architectural plans, construction permits...
The application of BIM in planning, design and construction helps reduce the time for research and approval of licensing documents, effectively supporting the inspection and testing of construction works.
For investors, BIM provides a visual view to support the process of selecting investment options, design options, and determining capital plans in line with the implementation plan.
For project management units, BIM provides visual models with integrated elements such as construction progress, labor charts, construction price development charts, etc., helping units perform work easily, have good preparation for capital mobilization, monitor human resource plans, organize off-site construction, control costs during implementation, help minimize waste, and increase efficiency in performing public duties.
At the training session, lecturers and experts from CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company disseminated knowledge about the process of managing construction investment projects through the application of the BIM model in construction activities to civil servants, public employees, and managers in the construction sector in the province.
From there, effectively implement the plan to apply the BIM model according to the roadmap of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee.
