BIM is the process of creating and using information models in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance phases of a building project.
BIM helps state management agencies in the construction sector gain a comprehensive and specific overview of the suitability of planning, architectural design, technical infrastructure connections, etc., serving the work of reviewing planning, architectural designs, and granting construction permits.
The application of BIM in planning, design, and construction projects helps reduce the time spent on research and approval of permit applications, and effectively assists in the inspection and supervision of construction projects.
For investors, BIM provides a visual overview that supports the process of selecting investment options, design options, and determining capital plans that align with the implementation plan.
For project management units, BIM provides a visual model with integrated elements such as construction schedules, labor charts, and project cost development charts… helping units perform their work easily, prepare well in terms of capital mobilization, monitor manpower plans, organize on-site construction, control costs during implementation, and minimize waste while increasing project efficiency.
During the training session, lecturers and experts from CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company disseminated knowledge about the process of managing construction investment projects through the application of the BIM model in construction activities to civil servants, officials, and management staff in the construction sector in the province.
From there, we can effectively implement the plan to apply the BIM model according to the roadmap of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee.
