One day after releasing the third beta for developers, Apple has launched the second public beta of iOS 18.2.
To use the beta version, users can register at beta.apple.com and then download and install the new software update on their iPhone.

For users who have participated in the beta software, the update is available; users simply need to go to: Settings - General - Software Update.
iOS 18.2 public beta 2 includes bug fixes and performance improvements to provide a smoother user experience.
In addition, the update also brings several feature changes such as:
Videos in the Photos app can now play in full screen without needing to tap the screen first to zoom in or out.
Camera Control can now open the Camera app even when the iPhone 16 screen is off.
New icons have been added for the next-generation CarPlay.
The AirPlay icon has been redesigned.
The ChatGPT icon in Writing Tools loses its AI light.
Apple had previously confirmed the official release of iOS 18.2 in December, so it's understandable that the iOS 18.2 public beta 2 doesn't bring many new features. Users just need to wait a short time to get the best experience.
