On the evening of July 12, the final round of Mrs Grand International (Miss Grand International 2025) with the participation of 40 contestants from many countries and territories took place in Myanmar. Miss Nguyen Thi Thua was crowned Mrs Grand International 2025.
Nguyen Thi Thua scored points at Mrs Grand International 2025 not only because of her radiant demeanor but also because of her fluent English communication skills and inspiring outlook on life.
During the question and answer round, she received the question: Is there a stereotype about married women or mothers that you want to break when standing on this stage?
Nguyen Thi Thua's convincing answer touched the hearts of the listeners: "Tonight, standing on this stage, I want to break the stereotype that women no longer have the opportunity to pursue their dreams after marriage or becoming mothers. On the contrary, marriage and motherhood have helped me become stronger, more profound and more loving.
I believe that women can take care of their families and develop their careers at the same time and still shine brightly in their own way. I am here to prove that women who have families or become mothers do not lose themselves, but they continue their journey with more inspiration, charisma and confidence than ever before."
Nguyen Thi Thua, born in 1989, 1m72 tall, 60kg in weight, is currently an officer at the Department of Information and Statistics ( Ministry of Science and Technology ). She is a former student of Thai Nguyen University and holds a Master's degree from Hanoi National University. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Science and Technology Management at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the desire to bring science closer to life, especially in the fields of environmental protection and sustainable development.
The husband of the new beauty queen - Professor Chu Manh Hoang is currently working at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and is one of the three youngest professors in Vietnam to be awarded the title in 2022.
Mrs Grand International is a prestigious global beauty pageant for married women. Vietnam has its first representative crowned in 2022, Miss Phan Kim Oanh. The succession of Nguyen Thi Thua after Phan Kim Oanh not only marks a new milestone of pride for Vietnamese beauty but also affirms the image of Vietnamese women who are brave, intelligent and ready to contribute to greater values for the community and the world.
