Information regarding the kidnapping of a 6-year-old child in Dak Lak has been refuted.

The police have investigated and determined that the information posted on social media about a 6-year-old child in Dak Lak being kidnapped is false.

On the morning of August 6th, a leader of the Tam Giang Commune Police in Dak Lak province stated that they had verified the information posted on social media about a 6-year-old child in the area being kidnapped and determined that the information was untrue.

Earlier that morning, information was posted on Facebook stating, "Urgent need to share and find the son of NTK (6 years old) in Dak Lak who was kidnapped." According to the post, on the afternoon of August 5th, the son of the account owner, named NTK (6 years old), was kidnapped by two unknown men while playing in front of his house. The incident occurred in Cu Klong commune, Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province (now Tam Giang commune, Dak Lak province).

Information about a 6-year-old child being kidnapped, posted on social media, has caused public alarm.

The information was accompanied by a portrait photo of a young boy and a photo of a man wearing a face mask holding a child.

After being posted, the information attracted the attention of the online community, causing public confusion.

The leader of the Tam Giang commune police also stated that they are verifying and handling the person who posted false information causing public panic.
