Launching the Gia Lai Digital Belief Club

On May 28th, the Gia Lai Provincial Police Department held the launching ceremony of the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club with the goal of connecting individuals, organizations, and positive resources in society to work together to build a safe, transparent, and humane digital environment.

The Gia Lai Digital Trust Club was established to connect government agencies, businesses, media outlets, schools, experts, digital community administrators, influencers, content creators, and local volunteers to spread digital trust, responsible digital behavior, and positive information online.

According to its operational guidelines, the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club aims to become a social hub in the locality, contributing to supporting people, businesses, children, youth, and vulnerable groups in enhancing their self-protection capabilities in the online environment; and at the same time, forming the habit of verifying information, behaving civilly, and proactively preventing digital risks in the community.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Chi Linh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Chairman of the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club - emphasized that one of the club's key tasks is to disseminate knowledge about digital trust, digital safety, and cybersecurity to citizens, students, parents, teachers, businesses, households, and users of digital platforms.

In addition, the club will spread responsible behavioral standards to influencers, content creators, administrators of pages and community groups, and other entities that can impact social awareness in cyberspace.

Specifically, the club will implement the "Gia Lai Immunity to Fake News" program, aiming to build community capacity in identifying, verifying, and preventing misinformation, online scams, fake accounts, fake fanpages, and harmful content created by AI.

Alongside this is the "Not Alone - Staying Safe Online Together" campaign, which focuses on protecting children and teenagers from risks such as cyberbullying, online scams, psychological manipulation, personal image damage, and data theft.

In 2026, the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club will launch an action program with the theme: “Trust AI? - Gia Lai: Safe, Responsible, and Humane in the Digital Space.” The program focuses on building a network of pioneering members; organizing communication activities, training, and fact-checking; supporting the enhancement of digital safety skills for the community; connecting social resources; and honoring positive initiatives in building a safe and civilized online environment.

In the immediate future, in response to the National Tourism Year 2026 in Gia Lai with the theme "The Great Forest Touches the Blue Sea," the Club will strengthen communication, spreading the image of Gia Lai as a civilized, friendly, and culturally rich region; responsibly promoting the cultural values, tourism, cuisine , and tourism products of the locality; and proactively preventing fake news, misinformation, opaque advertising, tourism fraud, and offensive content that affects the reputation and image of Gia Lai on the internet.

Through practical activities, the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club hopes to contribute to spreading official information, enhancing community responsibility, and building a humane, safe, and trustworthy digital culture.

"Gia Lai becomes safer in cyberspace starting with the responsibility of each and every one of us" - this message is also the commitment to action that the Gia Lai Digital Trust Club wants to spread to the community in its journey to build digital trust in the new era.
