Urgent preparations are underway for the big event.
As one of the leading tea brands, Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune) is not only famous for its 5-star OCOP products but also serves as an important livestreaming and live television broadcast point for the " Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Teas" Festival.
These days, the cooperative is urgently completing the experiential space, where tea-picking and tea-processing competitions will take place, and preparing the most distinctive teas from the Tan Cuong region to participate in exhibitions and introduce to friends and tourists from inside and outside the province.
Ms. Dao Thanh Hao, Director of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, said: The cooperative and its members are focusing on creating lush green tea hills, tea-drinking spaces, and areas for traditional tea-picking and processing competitions, reflecting the characteristics of the Tan Cuong tea region.
The unit also carefully selected skilled farmer artisans to participate in the festival. We hope to have more events like this to systematically elevate the status of Tan Cuong tea, contributing to promoting the product domestically and internationally.

In La Bang commune, one of Thai Nguyen's famous tea-growing regions, tea growers and cooperatives are rushing to complete the processing and selection of the finest tea buds to introduce to tourists; at the same time, they are practicing for tea-picking and tea-processing competitions.
The La Bang venue will vividly recreate the cultural story and traditional tea-making craft, creating a unique mark for the "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea" Festival. Together with the people and cooperatives, the La Bang commune government is actively implementing assigned tasks to ensure all activities at the festival take place safely, solemnly, and in the true spirit of this distinctive tea-growing region.
The "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea 2025" festival is the largest ever, bringing together hundreds of participating units to display and promote their products, with the core force being more than 70 cooperatives from 5 typical tea-growing regions of the province. The festival takes place from December 19th to 21st with many special activities and artistic programs, promising to attract a large number of visitors.
Alongside the preparations for the venue, artisans and tea clubs are actively practicing for the competitions and performances. This is expected to be a highlight that will bring cultural depth and increase the attractiveness of the festival.
In addition, many key cooperatives have sent their finest winter teas, with their rich aroma and clear green color, along with 100 diverse OCOP products, to participate in the exhibition, creating a vibrant picture of the world of Thai Nguyen tea.

It is also an opportunity for the province to acknowledge the efforts of tea growers, cooperatives, and businesses – the factors that have preserved, enriched, and developed the cultural values of this renowned tea-producing region.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, former President of the Thai Nguyen Tea Association, stated: "With Thai Nguyen tea, the cultural value lies not only in the unique flavor of the tea leaves, but also in the way people cultivate the plants, harvest the buds, process the tea, offer tea, and even how they talk about tea. The highlight of the series of activities is the opening ceremony of the "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Teas 2025" Festival, held on the evening of December 19th at Vo Nguyen Giap Square. The festival will feature five exhibition and cultural experience spaces showcasing the province's five famous teas, with the participation of approximately 500 delegates from the Central Government, UNESCO Vietnam; representatives from embassies, organizations, associations, tea delegations, and tea businesses from China, Japan, and South Korea; and various speakers.
The festival will also feature many activities, such as: a seminar on "Thai Nguyen - The Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Teas"; exhibitions and experiences of tea culture; mini-shows, competitions and art photography exhibitions; tea brewing demonstrations by tea groups and artisans; tea tastings with celebrities; auctions of award-winning tea products… The "Thai Nguyen - The Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Teas 2025" festival is not only a celebration of tea, but also an opportunity to strongly promote the image of the land and people of Thai Nguyen.
