Urgently prepare for the big event
As one of the typical tea brands, Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune) is not only famous for its 5-star OCOP products but is also an important livestream and live broadcast point of the Festival " Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea".
These days, the Cooperative is urgently completing the experience space, where tea picking and tea roasting competitions will take place and the most unique tea lines of Tan Cuong region will be prepared to display and introduce to friends and tourists inside and outside the province.
Ms. Dao Thanh Hao, Director of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, said: The Cooperative and its members are focusing on creating lush green tea hills, a space for enjoying tea, and an area for traditional tea picking and drying competitions that are typical of the Tan Cuong tea region.
The unit also carefully selected artisans who are skilled farmers to participate in the festival. We hope to have more events like this to systematically enhance the position of Tan Cuong tea, contributing to promoting domestic products and reaching out to the international market.

In La Bang commune, one of the famous tea regions of Thai Nguyen, tea growers and cooperatives are rushing to complete the processing and selecting the best tea buds to introduce to tourists; at the same time, practicing the tea picking and tea drying competitions.
La Bang bridge will vividly recreate the story of traditional tea culture and craft, creating a unique mark for the Festival "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea". Together with the people and cooperatives, the La Bang commune government is actively implementing the assigned tasks to ensure that all activities at the Festival take place safely, solemnly, in the spirit of the special tea region.
The “Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Tea 2025” festival is the largest ever, gathering hundreds of units to participate in displaying and promoting products, in which the core force is more than 70 cooperatives from 5 typical tea regions of the province. The festival takes place from December 19 to 21 with many special activities and art programs, promising to attract a large number of tourists.
In parallel with the space preparation, the artisans and tea clubs are actively practicing for the competitions and performances. This is expected to be a highlight that brings cultural depth and increases the attraction of the Festival.
In addition, many key cooperatives sent the most special tea batches of the winter crop with strong green rice aroma and clear green water color, along with 100 rich and diverse OCOP products to participate in the exhibition, creating a vivid picture of the world of Thai Nguyen tea.

Promote products, affirm tea brand position
From the perspective of those who have been involved in the Thai Nguyen tea industry for many years, this year's Festival is both a product promotion activity and a milestone to affirm the position of Vietnamese tea and Thai Nguyen tea brands in the international market. This is also an opportunity for the province to recognize the efforts of tea growers, cooperatives and businesses - the factors that have preserved, enriched and developed the cultural values of the famous tea land.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, former President of Thai Nguyen Tea Association, said: With Thai Nguyen tea, the cultural value lies not only in the special flavor of the tea leaves, but also in the way people take care of the plants, pick buds, roast tea, serve tea, and even the way people talk about tea. It is a living process, an emotional ecosystem, shaped through history, customs, living space and community consciousness. Therefore, to promote Thai Nguyen tea culture, it is necessary to diversify forms of communication, of which organizing a tea culture festival is the most effective.

The festival will have 5 spaces for displaying and experiencing tea culture representing the province's famous "five great teas", with the participation of about 500 Central delegates, UNESCO Office in Vietnam; representatives of embassies, organizations, associations, tea delegations, tea enterprises of China, Japan, Korea, speakers...
The festival will also have many activities, such as: Discussion "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea"; display and experience of tea culture; mini show, contest and exhibition of art photos; tea making demonstration by tea groups and artisans; tea tasting with famous people; auction of award-winning tea products...
