Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, shared: Following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, tree planting and reforestation have become a fine tradition of our nation, especially at the beginning of each new year. The collaboration between Khanh Hoa Newspaper and businesses with the People's Committee of Khanh Son district to implement the "Pink Clouds Covering Green Hills" project aims to jointly create Khanh Son district into an impressive tourist destination in the future.

Launched in 2022, the "Pink Clouds Covering Green Hills" project has so far completed three planting phases, planting 4,000 cherry blossom trees in various locations throughout Khanh Son district. Specifically, as part of this year's "Tree Planting Festival in memory of President Ho Chi Minh," 1,000 cherry blossom trees were planted in public areas, historical sites, tourism development areas, community centers, and main roads in the district.
According to the organizers, the "Pink Clouds Covering Green Hills" project will contribute to creating a green and beautiful landscape in the locality; and help build Khanh Son district into a "mountain and forest ecological mini-city" in accordance with the Politburo 's orientation in Resolution No. 09 on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
To ensure the project's effective implementation, the People's Committee of Khanh Son district assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People's Committees of communes and towns in the area to receive and allocate the number of trees for planting in the right season, and at the same time organize care and protection to ensure the trees grow well...
