Nhan Dan Newspaper attends Avante 2025 Press Conference

On September 6, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association led the Nhan Dan Newspaper delegation to attend activities at the 49th Avante Press Conference of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP).

The press conference was held in the suburbs of Lisbon from September 5 to 7. Attending the delegation's activities was Vietnamese Ambassador to Portugal Nguyen Manh Thang.

At the meeting with Comrade Paulo Raimundo, General Secretary of the Portuguese Communist Party, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh said that 2025 is a special milestone for Vietnam, commemorating many important events, including the 80th anniversary of the country's founding and the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

This is an opportunity for Vietnam to review its heroic journey of building and defending the Fatherland, while affirming its determination towards a bright future.

Since September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, the Vietnamese people have overcome countless difficulties and challenges and are steadily moving towards modernity and deep integration.

Having achieved great results in the long struggle against French colonialism and American imperialism to regain independence, freedom and national unity, the Vietnamese people always remember the noble international solidarity and wholehearted support of international friends, including Portuguese communists.

Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh shared the aspiration of Vietnam to reach peace , prosperity, longevity and development in the coming time. That noble goal was affirmed by General Secretary To Lam at the 80th Anniversary of National Day on September 2: The goal by 2045, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country, Vietnam will be a powerful, prosperous and happy nation.

Congratulating the great achievements of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, comrade Paulo Raimundo emphasized that the year 2025 will have a special mark for Vietnam as well as international friends. Vietnam has always been a shining example of the spirit of struggle to rise up, affirming the position of a resilient, creative nation, always ready to conquer new heights.

Comrade Paulo Raimundo highly appreciated Vietnam's presence at each press conference, which is very important to introduce outstanding achievements and contribute to strengthening international solidarity. He believes that Vietnam will progress steadily in the new era of development.

On the same day, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh attended and spoke at a discussion about Vietnam since its reunification in 1975.
