The Ho Chi Minh Museum at Nha Rong Wharf will temporarily close to visitors until September 2026 to facilitate a renovation and beautification project of the surrounding area. This project is part of the overall Nha Rong Wharf - Khanh Hoi Public Cultural Park. After the upgrade, the museum is expected to expand from 1.4 hectares to 11 hectares. The project has a total investment of over 20,000 billion VND.
According to the plan, the new space will enhance green areas and seamlessly connect with the Saigon riverside park strip and the new urban area. During the temporary closure, visitors can explore the museum via virtual technology on the website bennharong.vn. Information on the reopening date will be updated on the official website.
The Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ben Nha Rong houses hundreds of artifacts, images, and documents about the life and revolutionary activities of Ho Chi Minh. The museum currently has 10 exhibition rooms, including 5 thematic rooms showcasing 8 stages of President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities, along with 15 collections of rare artifacts and documents.
