To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on April 29, the online newspaper Tin Tuc (domain name baotintuc.vn), belonging to the editorial board of Tin Tuc and Dan Toc newspaper, launched four new online special sections.
These are the specialized pages: Ethnic and Mountainous Regions Photo Newspaper (Vietnamese) at dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn; Media News page at video.baotintuc.vn ; Ethnic and Mountainous Regions News page in Khmer at km-dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn and Ethnic and Mountainous Regions News page in Chinese at zh-dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn.
Readers of the online newspaper Baotintuc.vn are already familiar with the Media News section, which previously offered a wide range of multimedia content including TV news, videos, podcasts, 360-degree photos, and integrated multimedia. Now, this section will undergo a major overhaul, applying AI in many production stages and utilizing modern, interactive technology to deliver information. The section promises to provide diverse and up-to-date information to readers with the support and breakthroughs of technology.
In addition, readers will have access to three completely new sections of the online newspaper Tin Tuc. These include the online section "Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Regions Photo News" in Vietnamese, with content refined and updated based on the previous "Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Regions Photo News" online newspaper, to suit the editorial office's new product structure and to improve the quality and effectiveness of information serving ethnic minorities and mountainous regions.
The website includes practical sections providing information about ethnic minority and mountainous regions, serving the people of these areas, such as: the "54 Ethnic Groups of Vietnam" section, introducing the customs, traditional costumes, and festivals of ethnic minorities across the country; the "Policies and Laws" section, disseminating information about the Party and State's policies and laws, especially specific policies for ethnic minority and mountainous regions; information about cases and cautionary tales; and sections on Life, Culture and Arts, Highland Tourism , Knowledge Dissemination, Exemplary Figures, and Media, providing information through various multimedia formats, depicting the lives and people of ethnic minorities and mountainous regions through striking photographs, photo series, videos, and documentary reports.
The two previous versions of the Ethnic and Mountainous Regions Photo Newspaper, one in Chinese and the other in Khmer, have now been moved to the online newspaper baotintuc.vn and have also been revamped to improve information effectiveness, preserve and develop the languages of ethnic minorities; and focus on in-depth visual information about ethnic groups and mountainous regions.
The aforementioned specialized photo pages for ethnic minorities and mountainous regions will be displayed as a separate module in the right-hand column of the homepage of the online newspaper Tin Tuc (baotintuc.vn), consisting of 3 tabs leading directly to each specialized page.
The online newspaper Tin Tuc - TTXVN, licensed to operate since 2017, is a leading and reputable online political commentary newspaper, consistently ranking in the top 5 online newspapers with the highest reach and most information, as compiled and published by the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Along with upgrading the online newspaper baotintuc.vn, the newspaper Tin Tuc va Dan Toc (News and Ethnic Groups) will also comprehensively innovate and improve the quality of its print publications, including the weekly news bulletin distributed to the political system nationwide and to general readers; and the print edition of Dan Toc va Mien Nui (Ethnic Groups and Mountainous Regions) photo newspaper in 12 ethnic minority languages recognized by the State, widely distributed to readers, especially in ethnic minority areas.
