Toll collection on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will begin on August 10, 2025.

The toll fee is 2,000 VND/PCU/km (CPU is the unit of measurement for passenger cars). This fee includes 8% VAT. Regarding the toll collection method, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will use a closed toll system, calculating fees based on the actual distance traveled. The toll collection method will be electronic toll collection (ETC) with 100% of the toll lanes at toll stations on sections of the project already in operation, including: 01B, 02A/B, 03, 04, 06, and 07.

According to VEC, in the first half of 2025, the unit opened and put into operation nearly 30km of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project, including: the western section from the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong interchange (Km0+600) to the Nguyen Van Tao interchange (Km21+850) and the section from the Phuoc An interchange (Km50+530) to the National Highway 51 interchange (Km57+581).

After being put into operation, the sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway have made a significant contribution to reducing traffic congestion, accidents, and pressure, and improving traffic capacity. This has facilitated travel for people and the trade of goods, promoting socio -economic development in the related areas.

On April 1, 2025, VEC issued Decision No. 320/QD-VEC-HDTV on the service fees for the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway managed and operated by VEC. To date, the electronic toll collection system has been completed, installed, tested, and is ready for operation. Simultaneously, VEC has been implementing information and communication campaigns since May 2025 through mass media and notifying the Vietnam Automobile Transport Association as stipulated in Circular No. 34/2024/TT-BGTVT dated November 14, 2024, of the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ).

The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project has a total length of nearly 58km, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is more than 28km long. The project is expected to be fully completed and put into operation in 2026.
