Start collecting fees for using Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway from August 10, 2025

(DN) - On August 7, according to Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC): From 0:00 on August 10, 2025, toll collection for using the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will officially be applied.

The fee is 2,000 VND/PCU/km (CPU is the unit converted to cars). This fee includes 8% VAT. Regarding the fee collection method, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will collect a hidden fee, calculated based on the actual distance used. The fee collection method is electronic non-stop (ETC) 100% of the toll lanes at toll stations in the project sections that have been put into operation, including: 01B, 02A/B, 03, 04, 06, 07.

According to VEC, in the first half of 2025, the unit has opened to traffic and put into operation nearly 30km of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project, including: The western section from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong intersection (Km0 + 600) to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Km21 + 850) and the section from Phuoc An intersection (Km50 + 530) to National Highway 51 intersection (Km57 + 581).

After being put into operation, the sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway will contribute significantly to reducing congestion, accidents and traffic pressure, improving traffic capacity. Thereby, facilitating people's travel and trade of goods, promoting socio -economic development of related areas.

On April 1, 2025, VEC issued Decision No. 320/QD-VEC-HDTV on the price of using services on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway managed and operated by VEC. To date, the non-stop electronic toll collection system has been completed, installed, tested and ready for operation. At the same time, information and propaganda work has been deployed by VEC since May 2025 on mass media and notified to the Vietnam Automobile Transport Association according to the provisions of Circular No. 34/2024/TT-BGTVT dated November 14, 2024 of the Ministry of Transport, now the Ministry of Construction .

The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project has a total length of nearly 58km, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is more than 28km long. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026.
