Arrested another accomplice of Phan Cong Khanh in the case of supercar mortgage fraud

On July 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department issued an order to temporarily detain Mohamach Da Pha (27 years old, residing in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province) to investigate the act of fraud and property appropriation.

It is known that Mohamach Da Pha is a collaborator in Showroom K Supper, namely K Supper Company Limited (specializing in supercar business in Vietnam) directed by Phan Cong Khanh (alias Khanh Super, born in 1994, from Ben Tre , residing in District 7).

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department issued an emergency arrest warrant for Phan Cong Khanh for the same act.

The Investigation Police Agency determined that Phan Cong Khanh was the mastermind behind the supercar fraud of Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City) and then pawned it. Mohamach Da Pha was a collaborator at Showroom K Supper, knew about Khanh's fraud but actively helped.

Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City Police have seized supercars directly related to the above fraud case and seized several more supercars of Phan Cong Khanh.

As reported, Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City) bought a McLaren car with BKS 51F - 821xx in mid-April 2023, worth 10 billion VND. Through social relationships, Ms. H. knew and asked Phan Cong Khanh to sell the above car, so she consigned the car at K Supper Showroom (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1) but did not hand over the car documents.

On May 23, Khanh needed money to pay off debt and redeem the Mercedes G63 car that had been previously mortgaged, so he lied to Ms. H. and showed the McLaren car's papers to the buyer so they could see the car.

In fact, no car buyer came to the showroom to see the car. Khanh did so with the purpose of getting the original McLaren car registration with license plate 51F – 821xx so that he could mortgage the car to borrow money.

At 11:00 a.m. on May 23, Ms. H. went to K Supper showroom to give Khanh the original vehicle registration and inspection certificates for car 51F - 821xx.

Khanh then gave the McLaren car and all the documents to Mohamach Da Pha staff to pawn the car to Dang Minh H. (born 1991, residing in Binh Tan district) to get 2 billion VND.

After that, Ms. H. continuously texted Khanh asking him to return the vehicle registration and license plate 51F – 821xx, but Khanh did not reply. When Ms. H. arrived at the K Supper showroom, she learned that Khanh was in debt to many people and had pawned her car 51F – 821xx to someone else.

Therefore, Ms. H. filed a complaint against Phan Cong Khanh to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department.

In this case, Dang Minh H. received a car 51F - 821xx that was not owned by the owner from Mohamach Da Pha.

H. stated that he accepted the car because he knew Mohamach Da Pha. H. did not know that the car 51F – 821xx belonged to Mohamach Da Pha and Phan Cong Khanh for committing a crime. The investigation agency continues to investigate, verify and consolidate evidence to handle it according to the law.
