On July 19th, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency issued an order to temporarily detain Mohamach Da Pha (27 years old, residing in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province) for investigation into the crime of fraud and appropriation of property.

Reportedly, Mohamach Da Pha is a collaborator at K Supper Showroom, which is K Supper Co., Ltd. (specializing in the sale of supercars in Vietnam), headed by Phan Cong Khanh (alias Khanh Super, born in 1994, from Ben Tre , residing in District 7).

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency executed an urgent arrest warrant for Phan Cong Khanh for the same offense.

The investigating agency determined that Phan Cong Khanh was the mastermind behind the scam involving a luxury car from Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City), which he then pawned. Mohamach Da Pha, a collaborator at K Supper Showroom, was aware of Khanh's fraudulent activities but actively assisted him.

To date, the Ho Chi Minh City Police have seized a supercar directly related to the aforementioned fraud case and also confiscated several other supercars belonging to Phan Cong Khanh.

As previously reported, Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City) purchased a McLaren car with license plate 51F – 821xx in mid-April 2023, valued at 10 billion VND. Through social connections, Ms. H. learned about and asked Phan Cong Khanh to sell the car, so she consigned it to the K Supper Showroom (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1) but did not hand over the vehicle documents.

On May 23rd, Khanh needed money to pay off debts and redeem his Mercedes G63, which he had previously mortgaged. Therefore, he lied to Ms. H., claiming he was giving her the McLaren car documents so that potential buyers could inspect the vehicle.

In reality, no prospective buyers came to the showroom to view the car. Khanh did this so that he could obtain the original registration papers for the McLaren with license plate 51F – 821xx, which he would then use to mortgage the car and borrow money.

At 11:00 AM on May 23rd, Ms. H. came to the K Supper showroom to give Khanh the original vehicle registration certificate and vehicle inspection certificate for car 51F – 821xx.

Afterward, Khanh gave the McLaren car along with all the documents to Mohamach Da Pha's employee, who then mortgaged the car to Dang Minh H. (born in 1991, residing in Binh Tan District) for 2 billion VND.

After that, Ms. H. repeatedly messaged Khanh demanding the return of the vehicle documents along with the car with license plate 51F – 821xx, but Khanh did not reply. When Ms. H. went to the K Supper showroom, she learned that Khanh owed a lot of money to many people and had mortgaged her car with license plate 51F – 821xx to someone else.

Therefore, Ms. H. filed a complaint against Phan Cong Khanh with the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency.

In this case, Dang Minh H. is accused of accepting a car with license plate 51F – 821xx, which was not registered in his name, from Mohamach Da Pha.

H. stated that he accepted the car as collateral because he knew Mohamach Da Pha. H. claimed he did not know that the car, license plate 51F – 821xx, belonged to Mohamach Da Pha and Phan Cong Khanh, who were involved in a crime. The investigating agency is continuing to investigate and gather evidence to process the case according to the law.
