On January 31, the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command held a ceremony to announce the Decision to merge and reorganize the Logistics Department and the Technical Department into the Logistics - Technical Department. Colonel Do Ngoc Vinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Commander of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command chaired the ceremony.

At the Ceremony, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province announced the Decisions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on merging and reorganizing the Logistics Department and the Technical Department into the Logistics - Technical Department; announced and presented the Decisions of the Border Guard Command and the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province on the transfer and appointment of cadre positions and the transfer of professional soldiers; announced and presented the Decision on establishing the Party Committee of the Logistics - Technical Department.

Colonel Do Ngoc Vinh, Provincial Party Committee member, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, presented the Decision on transfer and appointment of officers to the positions of Logistics - Technical Department.

Colonel Le Van Nam, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard Command, presented the Decision on mobilizing professional soldiers of the Logistics - Technical Department.

According to the Decision, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Manh holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Logistics - Technical Department; Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Binh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Logistics - Technical Department.

Reorganizing the Logistics and Technical Department is a very important task in implementing the "3 breakthroughs" according to the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress (breakthrough in adjusting organization and staffing, suitable to the requirements of the new period).

Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard, presented the Decision appointing the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Party Executive Committee of the Logistics - Technical Department for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard praised and acknowledged the achievements of the Logistics Department and Technical Department in recent years. At the same time, he requested the Logistics - Technical Department to urgently stabilize its organization and staffing, promptly adjust plans and documents, improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations, quickly put into operation according to its functions and tasks, build a comprehensively strong Logistics - Technical Department of the Provincial Border Guard and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit.

On the same day, the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to hand over the position of Head of Logistics and Engineering.
