Attending the closing ceremony were Major General Tran Ba Khuong, Deputy Director of the Military Training and School Department, General Staff; Major General Nguyen Quoc Duan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Special Forces Command; and representatives of the leadership and commanders of agencies and units throughout the army with Special Forces participating in the competition.
Taking place from May 18th to 24th, the sports competition attracted over 700 athletes from the Special Forces Brigades: 1, 5, 113, 198, 429 and the Special Forces Officer School of the Special Forces Corps; Brigade 126, Navy; Special Forces from various military regions and the Hanoi Capital Command.

According to the Organizing Committee, the sports event was short, the competition intensity was high, and the facilities and weather conditions were challenging. However, with high determination, a sense of responsibility, and proactive participation from all forces, the event proceeded as planned, achieving its objectives and requirements while ensuring absolute safety.
The participating units thoroughly understood their tasks, demonstrated unity and honesty, showed a spirit and determination to win, strictly adhered to the regulations and rules of the competition, and strictly complied with State laws and military discipline.

Regarding the football matches, they were exciting, highly competitive, and fostered a spirit of unity and fairness, attracting a large number of officers and soldiers to cheer them on. Many teams demonstrated meticulous preparation, sound tactics, good individual skills, and effective teamwork; the competitions showed that the quality of the football movement in agencies and units has made significant and clear progress.
Results of the 11-a-side football competition: Brigade 126 won first place, and the Special Forces Officer School won second place. In the 7-a-side football competition, the Special Forces team of Military Region 7 won first place, and the Special Forces team of Military Region 3 won second place.

Regarding the volleyball competition, according to the Organizing Committee, this event had a large number of participating athletes and a consistent level of skill among the teams. Many matches were highly professional, and the quality of play accurately reflected the training at the units. The results: The Special Forces team of Military Region 2 won first place, and the Special Forces team of Military Region 7 won second place.
Regarding badminton, the competition showcased many individuals with good technique and physical fitness, demonstrating the potential for further development and participation in all-army tournaments. Results: The Special Forces team of Military Region 3 won first place in the men's singles; the Special Forces team of Military Region 7 won first place in the women's singles. The Special Forces teams of Military Region 2 and Military Region 7 won first place in the men's doubles and mixed doubles, respectively.

Regarding the pickleball event, although it is a relatively new discipline in many units, many athletes demonstrated good adaptability, a firm grasp of basic techniques, and effective performance in competition. Results: The Special Forces Team of Military Region 1 won first place in the men's singles, and the Special Forces Team of Military Region 5 won first place in the women's singles. The Special Forces Team of Military Region 2 excelled, winning first place in both the men's doubles and mixed doubles events.
Overall results: Brigade 126 excellently won first place in Group 1, the Special Forces Officer School won second place, and Brigades 198 and 113 won third place. In Group 2, the Special Forces team of Military Region 2 won first place overall, the Special Forces team of Military Region 7 won second place, and the teams of Military Region 3 and Military Region 5 won third place.

In his closing remarks at the sports competition, Major General Hoang Minh Son requested that agencies, units, and schools within the Special Forces Command and the entire Special Forces of the Army use the results of the competition as valuable lessons in organizing, commanding, and managing training and physical education within their units, as well as applying the skills learned in the competition to the training, learning, and daily life of the troops; and to focus on identifying and nurturing key individuals to form the core of units participating in the all-army competition.

Units need to intensify emulation and propaganda efforts; actively and diligently participate in activities celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Special Forces Command's Traditional Day (March 19, 1967 / March 19, 2027) with the highest spirit and best quality.
