Cycling to the World Cup
Three Argentinian football fans, Miguel Silio (56 years old), Yamandu Martinez (49 years old), and Vicente Conculini (29 years old), have just completed a 16,000km cycling journey over 10 months, through 17 countries, to reach Dallas, USA, to support the 2026 World Cup. Their journey began on August 16, 2025, at Gualeguaychu City Hall, Argentina, and they were warmly welcomed at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (USA).

Fans cheer on Uzbekistan
In their first World Cup appearance, the Uzbekistan national team is receiving overwhelming support from their fans. The match between Uzbekistan and Colombia on the morning of June 18th (Vietnam time) is expected to attract 74,725 spectators. Prior to that, the opening match between Mexico and South Africa drew 73,373 people.
Argentina wants to import 1 ton of beef.
Four years ago, the Argentine national team brought 900kg of beef to Qatar to feed Messi and his teammates during the World Cup. It is understood that the Argentine Football Association is working with the host nations of the 2026 World Cup to bring in 1 ton of beef from Argentina, to be imported along with the national team.
