Hanoi Children's Hospital is the first specialized pediatric medical facility in the capital city, with an investment of nearly 800 billion VND, and is expected to begin operations on October 9th.
The Hanoi Children's Hospital, located in Yen Nghia ward (Ha Dong district) and covering an area of 6,700m2, was completed after more than two years of construction. Phase 1 of the project includes two six-story buildings and a basement, with a total floor area of 34,364m².
The facility has 24 departments and wards, with a capacity of 200 inpatient beds. The operating room area has 11 rooms, equipped with modern facilities, and will implement multimodal anesthesia and pain management techniques, gastrointestinal surgery, nephrology and urology surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery, and maxillofacial surgery.
It is expected that Hanoi Children's Hospital will provide outpatient examination and treatment for nearly 1,000 patients and inpatient treatment for 200 children each day.
The hospital's main lobby area is spacious and well-equipped. Patients will register for appointments automatically via facial recognition and be guided to the examination area.
This place will also develop appointment scheduling services via website, fanpage, and app to increase convenience for the public.
The hospital's staff consists of highly experienced doctors from major hospitals in Hanoi such as: National Children's Hospital, Saint Paul General Hospital, and Hanoi Medical University.
"The hospital hopes to provide high-quality medical services, as well as alleviate the burden on the National Children's Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, and neighboring provinces and cities," the hospital's leadership stated.
Dr. Thai Bang Giang, Head of the Neonatal Department (Hanoi Children's Hospital), said that with the attention of the city and the Hanoi Department of Health, the Neonatal Department has received new and modern equipment to better meet the needs of patients for examination and treatment.
